Yeah, so I am a fool and spent $10 for a new char. pic. I got this account from a friend and didnt want the same pic. So, Is pent the money to change it. But, EVEN on the forums here it keeps the old one. Thus, I demand my money back as you failed me.

nope, they cant. they have your old pic cached and wont see the new one till they clear the potraits folder, as they will have the same filename. the eve client doesnt render a new pic if the old one is still present.

nope, they cant. they have your old pic cached and wont see the new one till they clear the potraits folder, as they will have the same filename. the eve client doesnt render a new pic if the old one is still present.

There is e-mail available to Contact CCP and sort matters like your portrait on the Forums and your 10 Dollar - no need to get that out into public as it¦s a pure thing amongst you and CCP.
Thread should be locked IMO.

If your friends can't see your new portrait, maybe they should clear their cache for your characters image. You can probably even tell them the actual char number if you look it up on your own PC.

The forum picture takes a while to update, the RenderSlave isn't very fast with these things.
That said, your picture changed ingame, but only if you clear ALL isntances of 251444320 (your CharID) in the /cache/picture/potraits folder. If you want your friends to see your new char picture, ask them to do the same.
Now, I know it isn't an ideal solution. Oveur has stated in one of his many replies on the forum that the client will be able t detect a changed portrait and will update it automatically in a future build. The devs are working hard on Shiva, so you can see this might not be much of a priority. Meanwhile, the fix above should work for you and your friends.
