So, we did a roam around w-space today, and popped a good number of ships.
However, something stuck out. We found an untanked domi sitting AFK on a wormhole. Mining drones, MLUs and 375 units of Jaspet in his hold. The guy was mining Jaspet, in a domi, in w-space, and sitting AFK on a wormhole
I challenge someone to display a bigger fail.

Any post by Dotard on the corp boards? Like the one where he Alphard my stealth bomber because he thought i would see his torps and warp away?
(That is pretty dumb though)
So there are roids in w-space?

Yeah. I did a bit of poking around in some w-space and found a field with a range from veldspar to hedbergite (probably butchered that, but I'm not too familiar with roids).

Perhaps he was part of a larger mining op that decided to mine in w-space for the peace and quiet of not being hassled by pirates etc...
Perhaps he was following his friends to the exit again after a nice profitable mining op and all of a sudden his little girl started to have convulsions and started turning blue.
Yes his negligence is clear and while he's trying to desperatly to dial 911/999, he's probably not thinking during this, "crap i forget to get my dominix back though the wormhole!"... Yeah, perhaps his dominix being AFK on the wormhole might not be such a 'fail' as you might first think.
Then again he could have just gone to make pop tarts, lives alone and while he's there, repack his bong.

We had a pretty big gang. What can I say, I expected the giant flying pinatas to be flying in organized groups and paying attention, rather than solo/duo teams of ratters/miners that ignore their surroundings in delayed-local 0.0 space.

The local police was chasing us and we were hiding in a wormhole. We tried to scan a way out for hours or so but didn't find any, and then they started bringing people in and start probing for us. Helios, golem, some recons, two or more command ships and few battleships was now chasing our gang of 5 BSs and one hictor in the WH space.
Suddenly our all-seeing-eye saw that the police jumped all of their guys in and the lowsec side of the hole was now clear. We reformed, warped to the exit hole where their golem was on guard and then we jumped through.
"The wormhole has collapsed"
Most of us got through. Only one BS, our prober and the hictor, that was delaying their gang by popping the bubble on the hole when we jumped through, didn't make it out. Yes, they had a covert ops inside but it was hilarious nevertheless.

Also,
It prob was due to food. I lost an occator once with 200mil of cad in it, because I had a pizza in the oven and figured I'd be able to jump a gate, hold cloak and run/get the pizza out the oven before I decloaked.
[My room is right near the Kitchen]
I ended up dropping the pizza on the floor in my haste, and returning to see me pointed by an onyx that had just arrived at the gate, lul.

Have to cook and i let warp gang to another personn. When come back, was sitting in my pod at clone jump station and read in gang chat "warp gang didn't work"

Found a small gang of cruisers in Wspace, Blackbird, cyclone, stabber, ruppy and some other crap. I'm in a Rapier and we have our Falcon with us, 1 dedicated prober and the rest outside (BS weren't allowed).
Blackbird sits at range to his group to "jam the targets who will be attacking his gang", or in our case "to get killed by 2 recons while his mates were too far off to help and too closeby to warp". We killed it, and simply cloaked and repositioned. They started to panick a bit and warped around a lot but we got them all, 1 by 1. No big losses or uber fittings but it was funny and entertaining.

OH, here's an epic fail for you guys....
We were going to WH to find some sleepers and take their well overvalued loot and salvage. Once we got eyes in the WH system, ship scanner showed a juicy Orca with a Hulk and a pirate flown Command ship next to it. What we figured out it was one guy running multiple accounts at the site.
This might be a state of the art veldspar mining equipment for WH mining (duh) IF the Orca would have been piloted. As most miners, alts are used with these ships, but not this time. The Orca was unpiloted and the Hulk pilot switched between the two mining ships.
So, this sleeper op turned rapidly into an Orca heist. We gathered forces, waited for the guy to jump Orca to a site and hop in Hulk. Once that was on we executed our plan.
1) All warp on top of the CS and shoot with all we have, jump an Orca pilot pod next to the Orca, scramble the Hulk
2) Kill CS, heist the Orca to safe, take Hulk Down
2.1) Get the pirate pod and awesome bounty
3) Loot and salvage
The op was 100% succesful (if the inability to get the pirate pod doesn't count) with no losses what so ever.
Fail, or not? hothothot
Afterwards we all got dead drunk and took care of all of this guys exotic dancers and dirty women.

Probably the Tempest I probed down, got a corpie in an Astarte to kill (whilst their Drake friend warped off and collapsed their wormhole home) and got the stranded pod to pay me iskies for a way out.
As far as fails though go we failed quite hard today after waiting over an hour for a Rokh to jump into W-space, where it warped to a planet and we tackled it, but couldn't break the tank with just an Anathema and Sabre. Support is on the way but before it gets here a gang (which just happened to be you guys, heh) shows up on scan and our Sabre pilot gets scared and warps off, letting the Rokh escape.

lacking support found a low sec link to wspace. Decided to close it, blew up the bubble the local wspacer had put down.
They turned up in domi knighthawk and 2 falcons. Jumped back and foward the wsapce in my abaddon couldnt get em off the gate wormhole got to critical got a cruier played a bit more i was on my side he jumped through wh collapsed
No real action but had 2 hours having fun playing with em

I have to agree some of the bears I found in WH space seem to think it's safe because it's linked to hi-sec.
My first WH kill, I pop in probe out a domi and hurricane, fly over just a domi there, jump raven into hi-sec warp to WH, down on the domi. Just as he's poppin (he was mining gas clouds.) the hurricane shows up. So I start in on him. Domi and cane down when nighthawk, myrm, arazu and EAF show up. I align and begin fighting thinking my days are numbered. Doin pretty well until the EAF finally jams me. time to go as the NH is begining to sting. I warp off. No scrams or disruptors ! Long story short after a little flying around I warp back to the ladar site, loot the good stuff from the wrecks, get as much gas as I can, pop the wrecks, the drones, get out and bob's your uncle. (so glad the WH out didn't collapse.)
