It seems like if you want to fit HAMs effectively you should rely on the engineering system that gives more PG. One less launcher and more low slots in exchange for the DPS.
A trade off but I think an important one.

My Legion
The only subsystem for Legion that seems to offer a PvP pilot some reasonable discretion is Propulsion. There's one clearly superior choice for each of the other subsystems. The lesser options are kinda "meh," unless you're doing missions or complexes. I doubt many pilots will fit a Legion with a remote armor repairer bonus.  The Capacitor bonuses seem especially lackluster. I chose the Engineering subsystem that gives the most power grid and has 3 low slots.

shield has a more all round resistances and will be harder to crack with any type of damage with level V subsystem skills, where the armour tank will have a hole in explosive and kinetic

Whats up u not think there room for rr t3 ? might be like rr bs gangs for cruisers, and u cud get healthy cap bosoters in this ship fit it with a buffer 1600 plates and your laffing ... let me work this out and if you have like 4-5 you shud beat most small gangs tbh... never doubt logistics, even rr
But i like your style with that, its got a mid slot over the zealot as well so moar speed or fit a damage control, 3 rigs = RAWR speed, shame about the mass being a little more but the subsystem should compensate to give you good speeds.. with good slot layout

Our first Legion hull has been made but were struggling on resources and drops etc atm for the subsystems, has no1 yet even got a completed one that they are showing off or w/e ? Surley by now this has been done come on you indy mad men and w-hole farming mad men

I think jita shows 1x tengu sale so far at a hefty price... but thats it, my guess is getting hte production chain established is going to take a while.

Didnt some nub already lsoe a proteus and almost got fricking solo'd by a myrm who did liek 90% of the damage. This guy fitted his proetus with a fail small cap injector and had a corpum tank (and still got pwned). Why he fitted one without a medium injector i will never know a blaster boat or and crusier sized ship without 800 charges is too suseptable to a neut. I will edit with teh linkage soon i lost it tbh

To give some ideas how to fit your T3 ship, please keep in mind the current FOTM:
* Resistance over repairing. RR for spider cruisers or after-fight healing
* Sensor resoultion for killmail whoring
* PG for the biggest guns and maybe a plate/extender
* As many guns as possible, if range/tracking/falloff included even better
* Warp speed or sig penalty reduction
Fits perfectly into the scheme of HicHacReckon gangs. But what concerns me even more is the combination of T2 resists, almost BC/CS like damage and 3 rigs. Honestly, rigs were meant to close the gap between T1 and T2 ships. It was not the idea of making T3 even more "uber" - although you have to justify that 3B ISK investment. Could we get Siege modules for our T3 ships?

I love in that km how he got pretty much solo'd by that Myrm, 41k or the 49k damage from one ship. Apparently he lost conenction half way through, but i hear this char has a habbit fo losing pricey ships with bizzare fittings.
