True, since goons started scamming they have almost lost all their space
But on the upside the years of infighting by fat rich decadent Bob member corps handed the Goons Delve on a silver platter with the flick of a traitorous directors switch when years of fighting got them nowhere. They are in a much better region than their old one. But see the problem is that for all the Goons luck in beating Bob on a technicality will that luck continue when everyone else in Eve starts looking at Delve and the current defenders with thier long record of ineptitude in alliance combat. Goons are good at what they do unfortunately large scale organized warefare is not one of them. I wonder what nefarious plans their allies are already churning out. I think alliance warfare is going to get mighty interesting again(finally!) before too long.

Don't let a few isolated situations like this sully your opinion of some of the Goons members corps. Remember that the Goon alliance was built on mutual hate of Bob and all the things they stood for and now that Bob is no moar you might find loyaties a changin' against that other corp that nearly everyone hates.
