I know this is a sensitive subject and I put out my nose,
but pls do not troll this or answer if you can not be mature.
I role-play in EVE and often meet guys who whine that there
is very few real women in the game. Well....after reading ingame
chats for a long time it is not so difficult to understand. There
is a lot of pre-mature geek teenage behaviour in EVE, a more mature
behaviour to women would be a good start to keep them in the game.
As a ref read the topic from Chairman Lmao in this forum.....
I meet a woman in one adventure and one thing lead to another and
we had a very steamy time together. She stopped playing a short time
ago, tired of all harassment just because she is a female, we still
write outside EVE but I damn miss her in the game. My avatar likes
women and show it, and of course - the way to get a girlfriend in
EVE, a relation including sex is to role-play. I am not only waiting
for the walking-in-stations,I will make something out of this. Just
pray that CCP will make realistic avatars (read = naked) so this can
be a part of the playing. I also really hope CCP will not show double
morale thinking here,if foul play, mass murder and violence in general
is tolerated, so should sex like in RL. Besides, EVE should be 18+ anyway....
When the times comes - I bet you will be interested. Hrmmm, was it not
some ancient sage or so from the legends that said; sex and drugs and
rock¦n¦roll is all I need ? 
If any of you have the same idea, pls eve-mail me, we could work something
out together. When WIS is coming I will be prepared and ready.....

Frankly come ambulation I have a feeling a lot of people will be disappointed if there isn't ..er... this going on.
With a Teen rating though I'm not sure how that's gonna be achieved?

Aside from the obvious harassment and less than savoury convo's any woman who admits she is a woman IRLÖ is likely to get in EVE, there's another big factor in the game that makes women not find it appealing.
The lack of a proper avatar.
Sure, you can question it all you like, and argue to and fro wether it's true, but I know for a fact that alot of girls I know from other MMO's have only played EVE through trial and quit, cause they never felt comfortable with an avatar being just a picture, or the arse end of a metal boat.
I'm going to guess that with "Walk in Stations", and the whole "play house" thing with clothing choices and such, women will be more appealed by the game and more likely to play.
Yes, I know, there are women playing EVE today, but the women-vs-men ratio in EVE is really poor in comparison to many other MMO's, which feature actual avatars.
As it stands though the following is, almost anyways, true:
In EVE:
- GIRL = Guy In Real Life
- MMORPG = Many Men Online Role Playing Girls.
All in all though, some people in the game seem to be so desperate to find a real girl in the game, that I swear they get off by bumping their ship into the ship of a character they deem as likely to be female.
It's disturbing to say the least, and not much of an incentive for any women, who actually play the game, to admit their real gender.
Then again, in EVE you can always podkill the freaking horny 14 year old carebear in their Ebay'd drakes.

Personally I like sticking ships in my Orcas sexy 400,000m3 Maintenace bay. And being Gallente I get some really good ships like the iteron, and the Thorax. My orca really enjoys those 2 ship types. Iteron V not so much, to long. The Iteron IV is more my Orcas taste it might be short but its double wide and can turn on a dime compared to the iteron V. Dont have access to hulks yet but 2 covetors do in a flash for a Orca party on a belt.

I've been in corps with girls before and none of them have quit from it, I guess it's another case of adapt or die.
Though I do know what you mean about the teenage geek thing within eve always strikes me as a little sad....
That being said, cyborz strikes is a lot sadder and more likey to make a female player run a mile than anything a teenage geek might say.

I'm pretty sure the problem stems largely from the fact that because there aren't any girls in the first place, the guys switch into 'nobody cares guy mode' and swear, and talk about disgusting things, and generally act like asshats. So when a girl comes in, she is bothered by how immature and resembling of 4chan the community is and leaves.
I've tried to get a bunch of my friends to play eve and generally they leave after being ****ed off too much by their corp members with 'get back to the kitchen' type jokes. Its really immature. Honestly, the only reason I tolerate it is because, 1, I'm a lesbian and can get in on most of the jokes and, 2) because I've sorta become numb to male stupidity.

Eve is a game of piracy, murder, bloodlust, scams, theft, and general violence, and it is going to draw in people that like that sort of thing. Just because I'm a girl doesn't make me any less crazy psychotic or bloodthirsty. So when people start calling me miss and madam, start volunteering to help me with incredibly simple tasks, and being goody toeshoed chivalrous knights, it gets kinda annoying. Yes, I'm a girl, but I'm not royalty and don't expect to be treated as such, I'm a gamer first and foremost, thats how I act, and how I except others to act. I don't wear lace dresses and go to tea parties, I wear sweatpants and stay up all night playing half-life and eating pizza.
In short, I really don't think that anyone in eve actually has ever talked to a girl, we're people and would appreciate it if, instead of treating us like some delicate flower or some horrible joke, you treated us like people. Here is a thought, stop what your doing. turn off your computer, go outside, and make friends with one person who is a girl. Get to know them and how they act, just be cool and casual.

Okay the OP of this thread is a bit distrubing on a few levels. MMOs tend to have higher female popualtions than most games, this is due to the social interaction. I have met a number of real life ladies over the years of playing EVE, so they are out there.
As for using Ambulation as a means to simulate sex, are you serious? Is your life so lame that you need a cartoon version to enjoy? Sorry if this comes across harsh but SERIOUSLY! I can think of a tons of things they need to fix and could put in EVE, cyber sex is not even close to the top of list, in fact it does not make the list.
If you want to meet ladies in a game the way to do so is simple, be polite. I believe women bring a great deal to the game becuase they think in different ways than men do. They bring an alternative point of view that can open up any game in whole new directions.

This is eve online, not hentai online. if you want an MMO where you can **** everything that moves, you're in the wrong place, here we kill everything that moves.
Also I think this suggestion also is more likley to push women away.
