Well I admit that except for Halseths trolling it's a nice addition to the EVE HISTORY project which lurks unseen.

Check the two last links in my sig for that.

This is some excellent stuff. I would like to have the mod's remove the totally unresponsive comments made by Halseth and a few others, and would like to thank all involved in this progressive display.

Are there any other stories that need to be told?

Xif?
A Really indepth CA or SA post?
FA?
<snip>

I did write a big post on FA some time ago, check out this copy of it on EVE Guardian. I'll dig up the actual thread (which had more information from others) when I get home.

From that posting several topics about capturing the history of EVE came up. Check out the 2 last links in my signature for that.

Now, to answer dokkillo, EVE Guardian is at the moment a nice repository of events, granted a lot of viewpoints are missing from it but it is primarily I think because people just get grumpy when they see some other side than theirs, so instead of SUBMITTING THEIR OWN they just say "EVE GUARDIAN IS BIASED" and write it off.

It's a shame because I think they are doing a good job, but they can't read peoples minds so they have to submit themselves, not cry because they are not represented! Represent yourselves!

Now the reason I'm posting here is of course to keep my word, first the link to my Fountain post which has lots of FA history in it from various sides. Secondly about a project that has been on the backburner for a while, Saga 1.

Anyone with the time and guts to go for this, DO! You'll probably get lots of input, judging by this thread!

So yes Thesious, there is a lot of material out there. The thing is to get players to submit their accounts and then make them understand that even if what is written isn't exactly as they think it should be, to take it with a grain of salt.

We know what happened to various news organizations (both in beta and release) who tried to do this properly. Both got shut down, one due to a real life lawsuit, CCP pulled the plug on the other.

A great shame on both accounts and in both instances it was immature players who caused it.

PS. To be really balanced, we could have a thread with two single accounts (one per "side" of each war) in a locked thread, with each person limited to a certain number of words. That'd be even better, but at the least PLEASE STICKY THIS!!!!!
Wars usually have more than two sides and many story angles.

Getting postings from both large and small players in conflicts broadens the mind and the enjoyment of reading. That builds worlds, not A vs B.
