yo sup, if you haven't seen the thread in CAOD already:
Since we've left all of our crappy angel space behind, we're letting you empire guys who've never had a chance to own space grab it. we want new blood in 0.0 because seeing the same faces rotating from alliance to alliance is boring and stupid, and really, why not give something back.
Zapa has set all of our outposts in Teneferis to allow anyone (except our jerkface enemies) to dock. We still own the space, but no goonswarm rules apply, most goons have left, and we're essentially letting anyone who wants to take it to take it. There are a bunch of R-64s, ABC ore, rats with like 1.8m bounties, all that crap. It's a little far from empire, though, but it does have its own outposts, and there's a lot of goon crap on firesale there.

I can verify deep tenerifis area is abandoned, at least the major outpost systems.
I know because I have billions worth of stuff there and haven't sold one item in months :D

They just want to see a free-for-all. Thus the "thunderdome" comment. They may take it back later, despite their previous statements, but I don't see how that would be much of a scam. I would assume that at some point, when they are less concerned with Delve, they will hand off the stations to an ally if no one had laid a serious claim.
In any case, it is a bit surprising that not one alliance has the ambition to take this opportunity and try to hold the area.

No actually it is no scam, They are far too tied up in Delve to stop you. Plus I think they would rather someone else got it than -a-. Delve is far richer than and more than enuff to manage.

There is no trick to this, Goons left because they got much much much better space somewhere else and alot of it. Tenerifis is semi crap by 0.0 standards but way better then any empire or lowsec.
However if you have not moved already you may be to late as the big boys are starting to show interest in the region.

No, although you think they would have. We've tried offering it to all of our allies. Read any recent reports you can find, and you'll see that plastered everywhere. The bad russians have had forever to take it now and they haven't, and the good russians don't want it, even though it has good ore and a bunch of outposts. We abandoned it because it's not that great, regardless of infrastructure, but for a startup corp/alliance in 0.0 it's awesome, because it's something.
Besides, everyone is shooting everyone there right now, so it's a great place for really brutal pvp for smaller corps, and a good place for larger empire corps to steamroll in and conquer. We have left it behind forever. Read caod, we even left a nascent titan behind (before -a- failed to kill it and we broke it out olololol) It's up to you guys.
