Ive had this problem since mid February and have been working on it with eve support for three weeks now. When i go to start eve i get the splash screen sits for a minuet goes away then nothing. just sits under processes and dose nothing.
Things we have tried-
Uninstalling client and deleting all cache files for administrator and all users under application data and in my documents. Uninstalled and reinstalled updated arialuni.ttf font Updated all known drivers Uninstalled ATI drivers and installed omega drivers. Uninstalled and disabled java addon for firefox. Roll back system recovery before issue. sadly no help. Turn Screen saver off, tried every possible screen resolution. set style to windows classic. Ran as administrator normal and safe mode. created another account and installed under that user. Updated .net framework 3.5 and java 6 u12 Rubbed it with lambs blood. and many other little things.
If your having the same issue try these different things some have worked for others but not me. If anyone has any other ideas or tricks i can try please let me know.

Unfortunately this did not work for me. I think that issue can be resolved with deleting the cache files. but my client will not load still. |

When i force start it in 640x480 the splash screen comes up in that resolution, then splash leaves and the screen goes back to default resolution and exefile.exe is still in the processes. let it sit fro a while and nothing ever loads

I found my issue. I Deactivated both Ethernet and wireless connections, then stared right up. the enabled the connections and logged in.
