Maybe if you provided some information about what you're currently flying and which level your cruiser skill is at someone might be able to give you some info.
As it is I doubt there are many cruiser setups that could take out two Sleeper BS's without very high skills and some very expensive modules... in which case why wouldn't use just use a HAC instead...

My advice is get a BC, and even then if it's not a drake you might not be able to hack it. It depends a bit on the WH too... not all sleeper BS are created alike. +++ "Etiquette is for the Dojo. In war there is only victory or death." - Eiji Yoshikawa |

Try the cerberuss with estamel hardeners and estamel ballistic controls. Might work.

Edited by: Meiyang Lee on 19/03/2009 10:37:47 a well-tanked HAC with a nice Hp buffer should do quite alright. Tracking on the BS is probably quite bad (haven't fought any yet, but sentry guns have aweful tracking, an AB Sacrilege can easily stay under their guns at 10k or so)
Largest spawn I tanked sofar were 5 Sleeper cruisers and 3 frigates at once, perma-running only 1 of the 2 armor reps. These weren't high difficulty sleepers (Awakened Watchmen and Patrolers) but that should give you a bit of an idea.
The Hp buffer is quite important, don't take a fragile ship. Sleeper Alpha is huge, but their RoF is quite low.

Dual rep SAC couldn't handle BS plus 3 sentrys or BS plus 4 crusier spawns (made it out w/ 80% structure). Def need a buffer on smaller ships. Buffered BC might get it. I'm just going back in a geddon though :).

Heh I stayed in a w-system for a while with a Vagabond, and I found the trick to kill the spawns with a ship that has no real tank is to use their speed to your advantage. I would MWD away and the frigates would follow at over 1km/s up until 280km away from the sentries (they stop shooting at around 250km), meanwhile the cruisers would be like 150km away and the BS 220km+ away. Frigates go down, then I work on the cruisers, then battleships.
However, killing the sentries before doing that proved to be extremely effective, and I came to the conclusion that the easier sleepers would be quite easy for a quick sniper, such as a Cerb or Eagle, although I would bring a Nighthawk if I could.

Passive tanked nighthawk can do the lower level sleeper stuff solo easy.

Why use a HAC when a drake OMGWTFPWNs and I haven't found a low-sec wormhole that it couldn't tank indefinately (obviously it can't handle 0.0 solo)...
The harb is nothing to sneer at either.... if I had to use a HAC it would probably be a well tanked Zealot or a cerb fitted for long range --
