I'm in a small-ish corp and am looking to protect/ lvl 5 with them in a carrier. What would be a good fit to do this?

Point of using a chimera is I'm indy and don't want to cross train any more.

Can use all relevant mods etc., just want to see how to fit.
Can't use triage though, but don't really feel like sitting ducky there.

If you can use the capital rep mods and have all of the proper support skills for a carrier, you should be able to get into a logistics ship in no time flat. Speaking from experience, I can tell you that Logistics ships actually do a better job assisting on Level Vs than carriers do.
Aside from having a faster lock time, being far more agile, having a much smaller signature radius, and costing tons less, it doesn't scream 'GANK ME' to everyone in your constellation quite as loudly.
Seriously, leave the Carriers for more PvP-oriented stuff and use a Logistics ship for PvE. You won't regret it.
