hehe, well I heared somthing about goons going with somthing like 200t1 frigs vs a POS and vs a bunch of large ships, is it true?? and my question is..
Is it actually possible to lets say kill a medium POS or well, at least the mods/guns it has with lets say 200 t1 frig blob??
Will the POS guns not hit the frigs? do they actually stand any chance of takeing the POS to reinforced or take the POS guns down and not geeting killed by them??

Theoretically anything is possible, I think that few pos have small guns to any large degree. It really depends on the POS setup and availability of gunners.
Countered easily by a fleet of ranged hacs/BS though, any frigate that engages away from pos risk being nailed by pos-guns, if he stays at guns the snipers nail him.
No hope of killing the actual tower though, frigates are not exactly known for their huge dps at 15-25km range which is needed to hit tower with shield up.

200 t1 frigs with like 100 dps each? = 20k dps...
Even with only 10 dps they would do 2k dps.. so, if it was all kestrels (Light missiles = range ), they could manage to take a medium tower :P but it would take a while xD

If all the POS guns are turrets, and they're all on say top of the POS... it's pretty easy to orbit them all at high velocity and escape their clumsy tracking. The tanking part is easy, it's getting the tower into reinforced from 15km away that's difficult. Requires a lot of long range weapons like railguns missiles beams arty's on small ships... ammo intensive to say the least. 200 punishers with beams could probably afk orbit guns and go chat on forums or something.
Now if there's large ships added into the mix, then I call goon propagandist shenanigans.

They definitely could. Standard launchers with the proper damage type for example could easily reach the distance required. The POS guns will pick away the frigs, but with the cycling of over 200 targets it'd certainly be overwhelmed.
