Being someone new to the EVE community and EVE in general can be a rough time. Where do you go to get this or that? What's the best load out to run missions? These are questions that I had when I started playing and while I enjoyed the game there was a little bit of a learning curve.
Dark Star Industries, which a good friend of mine was in, was recommended to me since I was looking for a solid group of people to join up with. I've been greeted with a slew of information and have had a good amount of help getting up to speed with everything. Early on they've assisted with ship acquisition because coming up with ISK early on isn't the easiest thing.
They are also a well organized bunch so when it comes to getting everyone together to run mining ops or run the nightly missions, we're all getting together on Teamspeak and getting things sorted out.
This is definitely a great group of people to associate with. They're always helpful and extremely organized and honestly they can help enhance your game experience by just having interesting things to do around the clock. I'm glad I joined up with them for sure.

Dsi is a great cooperation! tons of helpful supportive members. one of the things i enjoy is the feeling of family and being a part of something important, something larger than myself. having been plying the space lanes for 6 years now ( including beta phase 6 onward) DSI is one of the best corporations ive ever been in.

Edited by: Morgals on 07/04/2009 14:38:31 Edited by: Morgals on 07/04/2009 14:37:17 A great corp. Constantly runner operation with fleets in multiple area's with multiple purposes. From well organized mining fleets with multiple hulks and orca's, to Running higher level Missions as a fleet, to wormhole fleets. All done with a ton of support and great people.
Great spot for experienced and new players as you will have plenty to do, and people to do it with.
I really can't say enough good things about DSI. I would get in before the open recruitment ends.
Unlike all the other guilds who say great things about themselves in recruitment posts, DSI actually provides for it's members. This is not a "we will be" corp..this is a "we are corp"

I am very interested in becoming part of such a fine sounding corp, you all seem like a fine group of gents to be flying with. I just re activated my account after not playing since last year and am looking forward to getting into the new content. I'll probably need a quick refresher, but I am a quick learner and should be able to get right back into things. Ill contact in game later tonight after class, and look forward to chatting with you all.

What I like about DSI:
- Mature players - Helpful EvE veterans - Group operations
Overall a good Corp no matter what your play style is or your level of experience.

That sounds fantastic, getting a grip on pvp again will be great. But I also find myself enjoying mining and the economy side of the game. Either way I look forward to getting back into the swing of things.

I'm the same way actually as I do a whole lot of mining and we have some extremely good miners in the group. They have a wealth of knowledge and have helped get me up to speed on things I've needed to know when mining.
We usually hold mining ops that people can take part in to ensure safe transport of your mined goods and it's always funner to do things in a large group.Either way check in with the DSI-Recruitment channel in game and hang out with us for a bit.

All my experiences with DSI were very positive. It's a very laid back, friendly group that really caters to professional people that have "real lives".

I've seen SG around in other game and my main character is relatively new and casually looking for a corp, so I have a few questions:
1) What kind of interaction is there between this corp and SGs 0.0 based corp? In the long term (once I have my feet under me), I want to head to 0.0.
2) What is the situation of your 0.0 corp? The last newspost on your site is about moving next to BoB in December and... well, I'm curious to know what the current status is after all of the recent events. |

I apologize that you feel there wasn't a reason, if you would care to talk with me in game about it I'd be more than willing to talk to you about it. I am deeply sorry that you feel that you were wronged in this process but in the world that EvE is security is a priority and your past corp history led us to be a little on edge. For further clarification please contact me in game.

As a new player this game can be overwhelming to say the least. I've been with DSI a week and in that limited time I finally feel I'm starting to get the hang of things. Friendly, helpful, involved, organized, I couldn't be happier with my decision to join.

Finding any group that is online and active can be tough. I count myself lucky to have found DSI as a brand new player. Definitely the place to be for me and many oter new players that are just startingout in my opinion.
