Over 650 Adult Members Across 6 MMOs
Quick Facts
Year Formed: 2000 # Active Members: > 650 in all games ( 85 in Dark Star Industries ) Recruitment Status: Open Forums: We have an extensive library of information on our forums
Teamspeak: Yes, 6 Servers, one dedicated to EVE
Why Join us?
We are made up of and led by adults from many walks of life including many military service personnel, college students, and professionals. Most everyone in the group has a family of their own and enjoy gaming as their #1 past-time. We have lives outside of gaming but at the same time play games to win. We do so in a very organized way with a long-standing history of structure, discipline, and success at what we do while having a great time. When you join us you are joining the last gaming organization you will ever need. You can play in multiple games with the same group of friends from game to game. There is no need to find a whole new group of friends when a new blockbuster game comes out as we most likely will have an official presence in it. If you are a team-player and want to play with a group of friends that will be with you for many years, come check us out!
Policies
We are ruled by a long-standing Charter that covers every game we play in. Everyone from the leader of syndicate as a whole to the individual members adhere to the Charter. Ask us about our charter.
What is Dark Star Industries?
DSI is our empire operations corporation; DSI is attached to a 0.0 corporation that is active in 0.0 space. We have active miners, mission runners, and marketers. We are a medium corporation but are growing in numbers. DSI is a standalone corporation focusing primarily on logistical support.
DSI has its own teamspeak server for easy communication. DSI also provides free corporation insured tech 1 ships up to cruisers and haulers, as well as all tech 1 items and ammo for free. Along with all skill books of 100k isk value and lower to help aid our members. Along with that we can provide lower than market value prices for battlecruisers and battleship size ships for members.
We also have available research/copy and invention slots. DSI also provides limited PvP training to its members to keep everyone up to speed.
What we are looking for? We are looking for new pilots looking for a place to call home. We are also looking for any experience pilots that are interested in a new corporation. If you are even remotely interested in us, send me an EvEmail in game or open up a private chat.
If you are interested, please join our ingame channel to chat more... DSI-Recruitment
Or Contact Our Personnel Directors û Ralith or Doomchinchilla in game.

Sounds like a cool place. I'm going to be hopping in the chat channel this evening. I have to warn you, though... I'm very...very new. I've been playing for a bit over 10 days and am sort of getting the hang of things. I'm currently in the middle of the Learning Skill training excitement. But I have trained up quite a few skills outside of that, so that I can still play the game without civilian level gear on.

Hello,
Well I may well be interested in your offer. Should tell you what it is I'm looking for first though. I like the fact that you mentioned ADULT players. Although I have no objection to playing games with the "young folk" I have no intention of playing a game, any game, with a bunch of foul mouthed kids, or adults, who are constantly F**** and F**** that. I'm no goody two shoes but I don't need that. (My Granddaughter often sits and watches me play )
I've not played Eve for very long and therefore have LOTS to learn. I would never ask anything of a Corp other than information, advice and some fun company.
If you think your Corp can offer that...A courteous, mature and friendly environment where I might find friendly folks and lots of help in the way of information I'd be very interested in hearing from you.
Thank you, Baba

We can help you find your way in the game and give you some people to play with as well.

I highly recommend taking a look into this corporation. You won't find a more mature group of players that are willing to help even the newest of people into their family.

Edited by: Dethblooms on 31/03/2009 20:36:01 I've been on Eve now for about 3 weeks. Never played before, but I've had my hand in many different MMOs. I like that you are mostly adults, some military (I am a current active duty Navy Nuke), and I've done the epic arc up to Dagan. I got me a shiny new Stabber which is pretty fun so far. I'd like to find a corp to continue my training, move up in ship classes, help me with developing my skills in fighting, etc. I'm Minmatar, so as I understand it, Projectile turrets are the way for me. I'm not looking for any freebies or handouts, just some knowledgable people who won't mind my questions, so that I can eventually be a useful member on my own. I love to research things to find out how to be the best, sometimes the resources are lacking online for this game, though. Just guides and such around, written by random people. Ingame mail me or I will ask around for you guys.

We charge a yearly fee of 12$ yes. But it pays for the website and teamspeak server. Any left over money goes to a christmas raffle where items such as newegg giftcertificates are given out, monitors, graphics cards etc. There is a 30 day free trial, to see if you like what you see and if we're the right fit.
