EVE Vegas in (I think it was) 2006 was a blast. Got to meet Oveur, TomB and few other devs. I think one of the photos I made was taken down as it depicted the then new DX9 (10?) skins for ships. Afaik we took a pic of the brand new Vexor. Was a lotta fun.

Been to and had a blast at all the others. Why stop now. Not really active other than skill queue right now but the event has been good the other times. Ticket purchased and hotel/travel arrangements made. |

I plan to go but have a issue.Wife is due in dec and can not go without her our 3 and 6 year old..So i have to buy 4 tickets.On southwest airlines is the cheapiest.I have no choice preg wife is like a pissed wildcat.so what do can you do.
I can cover the hotel and event ticket.But dam the airlines are tough.SO i thought of asking other eve players that can donate toward my tickets.Yea Yea i know.But i really wanna go.If you can and would like here is the airline info.and paypal.Unless you have a better way.Thanks for reading and i hope to see eve players in vegas. Just bought my ticket. Looking forward to going to Vegas and talking about internet spaceships. I feel pretty lucky that this is lining up with my home leave. ( I am living and working in China.)
My girlfriend will be joining me. She was wondering if there were any other wives / significant others that will be in Vegas at the time that she can hit the tables or just get out the hotel room with while I run amok. |

Sadly i missed 2011 vegas. My brother lives nearby so I wanted to do 2012 vegas but i have 2 reservations that didnt exist in 2011.
1) I dont mind the cost $250 a ticket plus hotel and flight from NYC... but I dont like the idea of paying for CCPs tickets. **** them. ccp needs to pony up and buy thier own ******* tickets. thats just my opinion. And **** the dust514 guy. he is staying home.i dont have an xbox or whatever and im not convinced this dust514 game is worth getting one. Damn sure dont want to buy his ticket.
2) if this eve economist Von whatever the **** his name is keeps building in any more isk sinks and gimping the eve economy then I start to question how much i want to invest.
I mean it was about a year ago these fools were publicly apolgizing to their players for trashing the game, yet they seem to back it without remorse by devaluing lp, gimping loot drops and generaly overseeing an epic spike in plex prices.
Anyway i think it is EVE vegas is a good idea, but just because ccp got too cheap to buy thier plane tickets we are gonna turn around and buy them for them?

so i don't know if it has been mentioned here yet im really sure it has but i think eve online needs a casino of some sort with like slots and roulette and so on. for it would be a great reason to be on eve trying to make isk so i can spend it . that way i kill two birds with one stone have a blast playing eve online and gamble what more can you ask. and maybe the casino wouldn't be every where like you would have to find a station and only then you can dock and walk around with an avatar all in one place and meet other players(that would be cool). you guys understand what im getting at right? like that way your not just all alone in that stupid station looking at ur self all the time.

I mean Im sure some of the DEVS would be interesting, dont really care about Dust514, but i would be more interested in meeting other eve players.
I agree in spirit, but the fact of the matter is CCP went through some pretty big layoffs. We want the devs to come as a large percentage of the player base wants to hear about upcoming changes to the game from the people who are changing it. Hopefully next year they can allocate funds towards their trips again, and we can reduce prices! |
