If you could pick any 3 ships for a cruiser class pvp gang what would you pick?!
0.0 or low sec...
I would have to take:
Phobus - tackle
Deimos - power
Curse - EW
with med ECM drones for all

This combo makes a awsome roaming gank squad.
1. Arazu.
2. Rapier.
3. Pilgrim or Curse(for nuet+dmg) or Hac/BC with good dmg at 30kmish range (missile ships do well at this job due to having a choice of dmg types and so the ability to maximise DPS vs any type of tank).

This is a pretty tough combo to beat. Maybe swap one of the Phantasms with a Zealot for some extra range on the off chance that you or your targets get spread out.

phantasmx2 and falcon is good for lowsec, but 0.0 you really need a bubbler. I'd go with falcon with prober, broadsword, and nano vaga or maybe zealot. Not sure how it would work but it'd be fun to try. Three different roles. I think merin's suggestion is better for cooperation.

The arazu, rapier combo along with a damage dealer that can operate at a reasonable distance like the cerb, or the curse/pilgrim as the third ship is by far the best 3 man team for catching and killing the most variety of ships.
The ideas about the falcon i do not think are very good as a missed jam means one of your squad is toast, but that naivety shows in a lot of the posts as they consist of "falcon + 2 others" or "falcon + tackler + dmg dealer" without describing or even naming the other ships, and although a few have a bit of thought put into them i still say a falcon is a poor choice for a 3 man gank squad.
