EdiT: you have to fit it first...then 'load' it when u need it.

Where I switch the hardeners out for rat specific alternatives based on mission. TP gets bonuses of course and helps to make short work of battlecruisers and below, assisted by drones on frigate rats. Faction ammo comes from LP store and is worth it thanks to 100% damage bonus.

Eh, I knew about the fitting loading thing where you can link a fit I just hadn't seen the "load this crapola back onto my ship" feature. Which is cool.... possibly way cooler than buying several new ravens.
Seems like I'll be starting (yet another) notepad - this one containing ship fits per mission. My other notes include destinations by region/action (for instance when I was up in D2 space, and Insurgency, and when I was living in Metro lowsec).

It's directly loadable from the ship fitting window? How convenient.... they may have actually done it right! Now if it would just go get it from the giant station containers....

However I'm not quite sure about the misconceptions you're talking about. Well I'd agree about mission runners that are a bit low on ISK, which is currently not my case. I don't mean to show off, but having this dual Pithi A-type SSB and a HG crystal set plugged in help a bunch, and I get plenty of spare CPU/Grid left.
As to answer the second one, the furthest BS you can get usually orbit around 50km-ish from you. That's why the T2 Hydraulic + Rocket Fuel rig combo get their job done, throwing Javelin torps over 60km. Just a single rig would do 53km-ish but well, want to make sure they'll hit. If they do, well might as well throw in a T2 Rigor.
[Edit] With lvl 5 missile support skills, they'll go around 57km-ish with just the T2 Hydraulic rig, so I think I'm gonna go for the T2 Rigor one.
I agree about T2 vs Faction though. Missions exist to MAKE isk, not to SPEND it. If I was to use Faction ammo, it would be in PvP I'd say.
