Funny, today's patch loads the splash screen then goes straight to all white for me. On both of my EVE clients.
Once again leaves me asking.
Does CCP EVE test this stuff on the MAC, or do you just fire them up when once we submit bugs?

Same here, deleted the config file, but still my screen goes all white.
Was reading in the patch notes that Mac use pretty much need to be on OS 10.5. While I've had very little issues with 10.4.
I'd be interested to know if anybody else is on 10.4 or if this problem happened on 10.5?

Did some tweeking last night and found that if I wiped my EVE app and preference folder clean, then reinstalled (no changes in config file) it worked just fine.
Now the minute I changed the shader or graphics quality...BAM! White screen for me (Black screen I'm guessing for others).
I was able to run a version of EVE with the config file set to display in a stand alone window by changing the [sldv] setting, but once I do anything to help teh graphic performance, via the in game settings. Once again BAM!, white screen for AX.
So if you need to get a skill change in or market order, I'd give the wipe clean, don't change settings approach a try. I'd also save your old preference files somewhere, as I know have 500 bookmarked pilots I need to rearrange by folder.

By definition "not supported" means they will not support you.
We already have very few answers to things that are supposedly supported, I'd actually be upset if they were to spend time for things that are NOT officially supported.
I'm sorry what is not supported? The MAC client on OS 10.4 or hacking the MAC client?
Because this issue will happen in a non hacked client, once you update the in game graphic content settings.

Here's my thing.
I just want a response from CCP that says...
A. We are aware of the issue
and
B. Even though EVE worked on your Mac previously after the last patch, your hardware/software doesn't meet our minimum specs. (essentially, to bad)
or
C. We know EVE worked on your Mac previously after the last patch and we are looking to figure out what caused this issue so we can possibly correct it.
That's all. Nothing more, nothing less.
Just tell me if I need to drop 2 grand for a new Mac Pro, or $150 for OS 10.5, or if I should just wait till it gets fixed.
Once again I can play, although very laggy, even in a tweaked config file EVE, but tweaked or no teak, once I change shader options/graphic options, my screen goes white.

Alright good news.
Plunked down the cash for 10.5 and everything works now. Including running both accounts at the same time with tweaked config files.
