Arbitos	Posted - 2004.08.20 18:05:00 - [1] I've been told that if for example you use 4 multis on a Scorpion you get 4 x 4 = 16. So Take that off the sensor str and you get 0 - The Scorp can't lock you. If this is the case why buy a Tech II backup array, when it pushes you upto 20, so it still only takes 1 more Multispec? Or is the point I'm missing you buy 2 x Tech II backup arrays? Thanks for the Help

Carbonated	Posted - 2004.08.20 18:28:00 - [3] most scorp pilots fit 5 multi's. that gives u a jamming strength of 20, enough to jam anyone really. alot of people are not prepared to give up slots for backup arrays, but its just one of those things.. theres always a setup to counter another.

Also, it's better to fit 2 backup arrays, putting yuo at 24 strength, meaning they'd need 6 multi's!! That's highly unlikely for anyone to use 6 multi's. And Tech 2 backup arrays ARE best used on other BS's aside from Caldari, but they are just better then a Tech 1 no matter how you look at it. And they're not that expensive anyways. But the way I see it is you either setup purely for offense or defense...don't bother trying to setup for both because you'll just be half a$$ed in both fields making your ship kinda useless.
