OK so me and buddies have scanned out 4 or 5 wormholes today. All are named with the same number K162 which means that BS are too big to go through. Never had this issue before and was jumping BS all around last night. Anyone know why?

Edited by: Vincent Gaines on 29/03/2009 19:42:12 i was under the impression that all outbound-discovered WH designations are K-162.
i.e. when you find a WH and jump through it for the first time, it gets named K-162. So if you entered through one, someone has found it and exited through it prior.

K162 is the code for exit-point wormholes, as stated above. If you want to find out how much mass it allows through, you'll have to jump in and check the wormhole name on the other side. Being K162 means nothing, it could be connected to a tiny or huge WH on the other side.

Thanks. That would mean that all WHs should be K162 as soon as you find one it means it is discovered. It is odd that so many cannot accomodate BS tonight.

aww someone gave away another secret :-/
ya.. odd indeed. fix it CCP to cause more whinings plz... afetr all cloaks (and wcs i think?) and other stuff keeps their "penalty" even when offlined :P
but then maybe plates that are onlined have some sort of stuff going trough that makes em harder, mechanical/electro something or whatsoever... :P

Are you implying that the dev who stated that fitted modules and cargo do not count towards mass limitations was incorrect?
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. |

No, the dev was correct, fitted modules do not add to your mass. However, armor plates are an exception as they have a "mass addition" value on their attributes, which adds to your total mass.
