BTW, EFT warrior math:
Max skilled condor pilots with just 2 t2 standard missiles/1xBCS versus empty floating untanked dominix (48 dps/363 alpha versus 23,386 EHP):
Shields: 290 alpha with EM against 5469 shields, 19 alpha strikes without repair time
Armor: 272 alpha with kinetic against 6211 armor, 23 alpha strikes
Hull: 363 alpha with kinetic against 6641 armor, 19 alpha strikes
61 condor pilots with perfect sync can one shot an untanked, unskilled dominix pilot. Or somewhere around 20 with kinetic would take somewhere around 30 seconds.
Just so you know it is possible. With rockets, it's more like 200 some condors for an alpha, but more around 40 seconds with 20 of them.

Seeing this amazing video, my first thought is that this is how EVE fights should feel like. The scale of the objects, the ships maneuvers, the formations.. How the frigates were chased by drones that weren't just icons in space a few kilometers behind...
EvE needs to be more cinematic! Given, it's impossible to tweak the game towards this amount of cinematic effects, but there's some good ideas mentioned in this thread on how to bring it closer. Look at scales, look at distances between ships... Missile trails, ship movemements... |

While I have to agree that this video is the best darnest thing I've seen in a long while, I'm gonna play devils advocate as far as making Eve more cinematic.
Given the barage of complaints from users regarding the recent upgrade in graphics card requirements, I dont think requiring even more horsepower for "cinematic" effects is the way forward.
Improving lag in large fleet battles, yes; cinematic sequences that require a 1GB GTX280... perhaps not.
