I see lots of bumps for Clear Skies 2 which in itself is a very good video also but Day of Darkness 2 has seemed to slipped off the radar Any one new to EVE needs to see this, well anyone who missed it the first time needs to see this. This is probably the most professional EVE movie you will ever see...A lot better than anything CCP has done(sorry CCP )

The absolute most amazing fan-made video I have ever seen in regard to anything. Video game franchise or otherwise. This is top notch, from the voice work, to the atmosphere conveyed, choice of music, artistic direction and the angles which you chose to display the carnage of the battle.
My favorite moment was the 5 seconds or so as the Admiral jumped with his fleet and appeared in the skies above Gallente Prime. You couldn't pay ANYONE to do those few moments better than the artist has done here.
On that note, in agreement with several others in this thread, CCP: If you haven't snatched this man up and added him to your staff yet in some capacity, you are making a huge mistake. Odds are, this man is going to continue to make movies, and if he isn't doing them for you, sooner or later he will be doing them for someone else. Get while the gettin's good.

absolutly fantastic! it leaves me breathless each time i watch it.
this video kind of reminds me of the epic scope that Peter Jackson used in "the return of the king"; flyby shots of a massive battle. it makes you wonder what's happening outside the frame, and that is exactly what you have done here. this, ontop of good chronology and good voice acting and fanatstic music, makes this the best machinima i've ever seen.
it makes me wonder what you could achieve, if you had a milliondollar budget =)

Saw this on youtube, ended up downloading the high res version and just finished watching it and all I can say is this is simply EPIC.
Personally I reckon: "...an extreme right wing government seized control of the Gallente Federation ..." would have rolled off the tongue a bit better.
Otherwise this video gets 5 stars from me
