I'm ditching the Raven soon and exchanging it for an Apoc, as I use battleships only for NPC hunting it only makes sense to use one that costs nothing to maintain over one that costs lots in cruise missiles and torpedos... I don't have the spaceship skills yet but I'm starting to think of a proper fitting and came up with a couple of ideas that seem to be what everyone uses, roughly... Anyway:
Hi: 7 mega pulses 1 large smart bomb or cruise launcher
Med: 1 webber 3 cap rechargers OR 1 webber 1 tracking computer 2 cap rechargers OR 1 MWD 3 cap rechargers
(opinions appreciated here)
Low: 1 Large Acco Repairer 1 T2 Med Repairer 2 armor hardeners 2-3 CPRs 1 T2 tracking enhancer 1 T2 heatsink (yeah, I know that's more mods than I have slots)
Couple of questions: 1) Factoring in that I'll be fighting mostly Angel raiders, I reckon, what kind of hardeners should I use for best results?
2) Could I go without the T2 med repairer and put something else instead? --- I bring you joy, I bring you pain, I bring you some sunshine And some rain. |

angels use projectiles to shoot at you so you might do with a thermal/explosive/kinetic hardner
i used to hunt them with this setup and it went pretty good, could solo almost every spawn:
high: 6x mega pulses 2x siege launchers (arbalest if possible) or 8x mega pulses
med: 4x cap recharger II (no question about changing this)
low: 2x large armor repairer (the named ones that give 720 armor hp each cycle) 3x armor hardners (kinetic/thermal/explosive) 2x capacitor power relay
get energy systems, energy management to lvl 5 and amarr bs to lvl 4 and you'll have all the cap you need get repair systems and hull upgrades to lvl 5 and you'll have all the armor you need
ditch the mwd, webber, tech 2 stuff and make sure you have enough cap cause the basic rule of fighting still is => no cap = dead
using this setup with the skills i gave above you'll have 7200 cap with a recharge rate of 181 secs, 6000 armor and the 2 armor repairers will give 720*2=1440 armor each 11.25 secs

Be adviced that the top lvl Angel BS rats have very high resistance against EM and also Thermal...

I use:

6x Orge/Wasp
I don't have really good fighting skills, and i'm lacking some basic skills, but this setup works very good for me. The only problem i have atm is damage. Which i will soon fix.
1. I fight bloods so thats why i have thermal/em. i have no clue what type of damage angels do.
2. I learned very quick to carry two armor repairs.

Don't know now after the drone changes which is best to use but do use drones that to either kinetic or explosive damage. I usually choose another belt if there are interceptors in one spawn. Some interceptors like Angel impairers are almost immune to emp/em damage.
Also equip 2*wcs so your corpmates will not have the pleasure to hear you say that you lost a battleship to some npcs.

L3xor i think things may have changed somewhat since you last fought Angel npc's then.
Your set up is pretty good but I think you will struggle to kill a Seraphin or even a General with Megapulse on a Apoc. Angels have massive EM and Thermal Resistance.
Angels and Apoc is not good combination in my opinion.
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

I find Generals are fairly easy to kill with a megapulse-Apoc provided you can get within 20km and use Multis (hence I fit an afterburner, adding a cap relay in place of one hardener). Seraphim are indeed a struggle to kill, solo, not so much because they're a danger but simply because it takes so long that you start getting respawn of the rest of the rats!

Archangel Generals are doable in an Apoc .. Seraphims are not , they just soak your damage and laugh at you 
Angel Raiders are Frigs , slap on some medium/small guns and kill them quick ;)
