How? If a SS (safe spot) is thousands of AU's away from anything...how? Don't the scanners have a certain range they can scan up to, and if your totally outside that range, how do u find them? |

If your using the bm trick, its likely its warping you towards some origin point. Now, if that origin is the same whereever you warp FROM, then all routes to that point become a cone.
Thus, at that distance towards the origin, its probable that anywhere from in system will be pretty near where you are.

A safespot that isn't on your sensors is nearly impossible to find. You would need to know the persons cap when they warped, point of origin, skills, ship type, modules. Too many variables, especially considering that you can keep on going indefinately. ====================================

Agreed- it is harder but can be done. If you have one of the "out of system BMs" the farther they go the easier it gets because it gets closer to a straight apporach especially if you figure out wich object they warped from.
-make a bm "out of system" -warp to that BM keeping range scanner set to max -refresh every few seconds -you will be amazed at the junk out there people think is "safe" -make a BM on each side of the "safe spot" and close distance with each warp torp

Do the AA still come out if your ship breaks down ALL that way out? Wonder if their 2hour policy is also valid on 96,000 AU's distance.... somehow I doubt they'd make it ontime eh? :P
