I did a mission to move homeless from one station to another. I get there and drop off the homeless but they refuse to leave my hangar!!!
Will I get a security hit if I sell them?
What if I jettison them into space?
Who would want to buy homeless?
I don't know what to do with them.

Some R&D agents used to need lots of homeless for their research (...). I don't know if that's still the case, because I don't do R&D missions any more.

R&D agents still require homeless so keep them or sell them against nice prices. Or when your in a corporation give them to the corp researchers.

I'm using mine to create a utopian society, where everyone is equal because of their poverty. I have 75 and am looking for more. Eventually I hope to get some livestock as well.

I keep my Homeless and Slaves (that I will free one day in a way other than being spaced) in my hangar along with all the spirits and tobacco my agents give me.
An NPC Corporation is not the pilot of its ships and structures! |

To actually reply to the original question, try contacting your agent or checking your mission to see if your at the right station. Sometimes you seem to have to talk to your agent to finish the mission and have the item vanish, Homeless in your case.
And yes you will take a hit to your standing if you fail the mission

Azraac - you obviously haven't done this type of mission. Homeless are left over after you complete the mission. They "choose" to stay with you. Soon they clutter up your hangar.
Put them on escrow for whatever the market will pay. Or trash them. It's just another commodity item.

You wouldn't believe how well some of the homeless clean up. Hell Ive sold them for a huge amount of isk to people that were lonely and needed a pretty friend. Spelling corrections welcome, but don't expect me to edit my post. |
