Is it possible to get all 4 types of armor resistances up above 90% on a Dominix? |

Yes, it is. With a set of 4 Corpus X-Type hardener and an additional Corpus X-Type Explo Hardener, 1 Shaqil's EANM with armor comp skills @ V and a Dmg-Control, you will end up having: em 89.7% th 86.7% kin 86.7% exp 90.4%
With one Anti-Kinetic Pump II, one Anti-Thermic Pump II and a lvl5+mindlink fueled ganglink Damnation, you will have
em 91.3% th 90.1% kin 90.1% exp 91.1%
It is (as far as my tries go) NOT possible to get them without ganglink-support. But as you didnt say anything about that, i guess that is ok. ;)

Not possible to get all to 90% plus but close.
However the resulting ship would be an EFT joke. Needs all lows with X-Type hardeners plus T2 Resistance rigs and a fully skilled leadership character in a Damnation with warfare link plus mind-link. Also has no repairer.
Centus X-Type Armor EM Hardener 2x Centus X-Type Armor Explosive Hardener 2x Centus X-Type Armor Kinetic Hardener 2x Centus X-Type Armor Thermic Hardener
Anti-Explosive Pump II 2x Anti-EM Pump II
EM = 90.34% Kin = 91.15% Exp = 89.34% Therm = 91.15%

So I take it that the Centus X-Type are pretty darn good. I currently use True Sansha hardeners. Would it be worth it to sell and upgrade?

64% vs 55% but they cost many hundreds of mill each. For mission running they are an option if you are tanking rat specific only.
An omni tank is pointless and for obvious reasons they are not a good choice for Pvp. Corporation standings transfer service for Hisec Pos, 10.0 to Gallente, 9.65 to Minmatar

Hmm. Yeah this is a setup for PvE only. I guess I'll be seaching the contracts for the top shelf hardeners.

Edited by: Contralto on 05/04/2009 17:11:41 Here is A fit that will utilize your Sansha plus X-type hardeners with the popular double T2 Lar's. Serpentis damage types used as an example.
Note that this is way over tanked for any lvl 4 mission especially against Serps. Better to use the slots for damage and tracking mods for Rails and Sentries.
5x Cap Recharger II
Centus X-Type Armor Kinetic Hardener Centus X-Type Armor Thermic Hardener True Sansha Armor Kinetic Hardener True Sansha Armor Thermic Hardener 2x Large Armor Repairer II Damage Control II
3x Capacitor Control Circuit I
With fleet bonus (all three Armor links) Note how this drastically improves the tank.
Effective HP: 135,604 Tank Ability: 2,282.25 DPS Damage Profile - Serpentis (EM: 0.00%, Ex: 0.00%, Ki: 37.85%, Th: 62.15%) Armor Resists - EM: 68.50%, Ex: 43.29%, Ki: 91.15%, Th: 91.15%
Capacitor: Stable at 42%
Without Fleet bonus
Effective HP: 106,319 Tank Ability: 1,441.96 DPS Damage Profile - Serpentis (EM: 0.00%, Ex: 0.00%, Ki: 37.85%, Th: 62.15%) Armor Resists - EM: 57.50%, Ex: 23.50%, Ki: 89.62%, Th: 89.62%
Capacitor: Stable at 40%

OP asked for >90% onmi resists, we gave him >90% omni resists. Nothing to brag about as the USE of such a fitting is highly doubtful BUT THATS NOT WHAT HE ASKED FOR!

I know. I just wanted to know if I could get resists up above 90%. thanks all. I'll stick to T2 and Sansha stuff. I just wanted to be able to reliably AFK missions like the Bonus room in Angel Extravaganza and the Smash The Supplier. I don't have a problem tanking them when I am paying attention, but I'd like to aggro the entire room, release my drones and head down to the local pub for an hour or two.
