Please be aware and tell your friends that Goonfleet which though an offical ambassider told me they do not encourage its members to scram others. i believe from the overwheling number of those who seem to do so . they do .
Two days ago i was scammed by two members . i forgot there names.. but they often hang out in the recruitment channel.
Remember that offically Goonfleet does NOT actively recruit. the ONLY way to get in is to know someone who is already a member or be a member of the something awful forums (which you have to PAY to become a member of.. go figure) for 3 months.
I do not honestly understand why such a operation would resort to such measures. But apparently this is not against the games policy as i guess the motto is . space is rough :-p.
most of the time they simply tell you to join you have to give a 500 million ISK deposit (for safty reasons) and that you will get it back in 5 days
well the two who scammed me went above and beyond suggesting i buy two battleships to sell in there region and that they would go ahead and jump it over for me. Yes i know. stupid me. i had did a search about it only AFTEr i sent the isk and ships. what gets me is that they even went so far as to have a mock interview and such . even the next day when i messaged the person they stil denied it was a scam asking for yet another 500 million isk because i was in a member of a corp formally for (two days) that was hostile to them. thankfully by that time (but after already losing 700 million ISK basically) i declined and they basically chewed me out and called me an "enamy" and no refund "surprise surprise"
personally if i were you i would have nothing to do with them. users are lured in because they know they have a large area of space. so ? many other good corps have alliances with groups who have a smaller but still resource rich area of space to set home in.
I detest any corperation that encourages (offically or not) its members to scam others. it seems to me why should anyone put there trust or time in a coperation such as that.
that is why i am glad my hopefully new corp i will be a member of is hostlie to them :-)
be safe and just as a general rule if ANY corp in eve asks for a "security deposit" decline.

Well you guys should hit me first, I fell for their entire scam.
it was penifSMASH and some other ******.
Started with me buying a scammed(later found out) ship, Ended up chatting for awhile, And then he started going on about how I sound like Goon material and crap. I was a little catious but I figured It was my turn to give back and get some good proof of the low scams out there.
If you want to know more, Post here or EVE-mail me, Heck even convo me.
They ended up wasting over 6 Hours i believe to end up getting only 80 Million ISK and around 275 Million worth of ships and mods.
Talk about pathetic.
I guess if yall want to know more so you can avoid it and so can others, Ill post it here later...As for now im too tired and little bit ticked off.

Well in all reality this probably helped me, Because I was using crap before.
Now Im never leaving high-sec, And will get better stuff.
For example, I had been using +3 implants, now Ill get +4s/+5s.
My drake had some stupid mods on it still, Now I can fit one better.
Im still angry that I fell for the first part of their scam, But Im also glad I can try to provide detailed information of what they did to hopefully stop others from falling for it now.

Well we can all show our "Goon-Disgust" this weekend by pitching in some Security Status points  to each kill 1 Goon EVE wide through the weekend ending Sunday night.
"Whack A Goon" starts this Friday at 00:00 EVE time. Everyone can join in from Miners who got cans flipped, Mercs that are getting their weekend dec list ready, Mission Runners from all corners of New Eden, and all Corps just looking for something fun to do for a change.
