There have been a lot of changes, and additions to Combat this and PVP that. Everyone thinks miners are carebears. When will we see some changes to help the lowly miner? Like larger cargo mods or better mining drones. How about a better minng ship so we can stop hearing about how a "Battle"ship is for battle not for mining, even though I can produce more with one than any other ship. All suggestions welcome

I agree with this. Mining needs to be given the same advanced skill route that other trades have. At present, everyone can mine everything easily.
Skills need to be introduced (very advanced ones) to allow specialisation and new equipment/ships.

yeah we need skills like Sharpmining 5% bonus to mining laser range, Rapid mining 5% to mining laser cool down, cookie bakeing 5% bonos to muching cookies, mining laser upgrades 5% reduktion to mining laser CPU fitting reqs.....

Everyone can fit mining lasers that can extract Arkanor.
Not everyone can pilot a battleship firing cruise missiles.
I don't think that is right.

I also believe there should be some more speciality things placed in game for Mining, seeing how all anyone needs to get is an Apoc to mine effectively.
Although I'm not for the idea of having specialized, mega-huge-cargo-hold ships with mining laser turret spots, as all people will do is get those and AFK mine in 1.0. Which is "teh sucks".

Heard a rumor about mining getting some attention. For instance the Osprey is supposedly gonna get a 5% yield per lvl or sum.

I am a miner and yes mining needs more love. I am starting to feel left out.
A few things I think we need:
1.New minerals and ore to mine and sell.
2.New DCM minerals and ore.
3.Deep core mining drones that canĘt be hurt buy the gas cloud. p.s. pleas make them blue donĘt just cut and paste.
4.Mining ship new ones not old nerfed ones.
5.new mining skills like:

oh please, no more mining love. We need Battleship love, nerf our guns, nerf our drones, Missles are lined up next. This is supposed to be a game of risk vs reward. Let me risk my Battleship rat hunting in 0.0 where full spawns can jump in 20k from you and******you in seconds, or sit in .5 space mining omber or Kernite.
Combat classes need more love and balancing, not mining.
