Well, I was upset about the change to the Caldari ship widow when that was rolled out, and the Gallente ships were already ugly, and the Gallente and Minmatar noob ship models now look like they both had Caldari parents. Unfortunately, the slide downward continues with the uglification of Amarr T2 ship skins. Used to be, there were some T2 ships in the game that I would have considered buying just based on appearance. Now, there are ships appearing on Sisi that, if ported to Tranquility, I will probably NOT be buying, due to color scheme, unless there is a really good functional reason to do so. The Sarum Family (I think the new one is like the old Sarum Family one, although the label is still Carthum Conglomerate) color scheme has totally removed any desire from me to buy the Paladin or any similarly coloured ships and the Curse and Damnation have also been struck with a bit of the "ugly" club, with the blotchy black and grey, although not as much. If the trend toward FUGLY continues when CCP redoes T2 Minmatar ships (I don't think that has been done yet, but not sure), I will be sorely tempted to not even bother with most T2 ships in spite of their usefulness.
I am almost sure that this uglification is a prelude to CCP charging ISK, or worse yet, Aurum for the old color schemes. If so, I will probably not be buying the colors and just looking at my ship and feeling miserable rather than hate myself for giving in. |

They're not Carthum Conglomerate anymore but Sarum Family.

I have to admit, the slight green tinge to the zealot and other Viziam ships is a little... off. Not bad, as such, just... yeah. Weird. The Carthum( or Sarum, if they're being changed) colours aren't quite working for me, too much of that dried-blood red. I like the restrained use of colour done on the golem; perhaps Sarum ships could follow the same philosophy instead of trying to outdo tony stark  |

maybe something isn't applying in that preview that will be in the final version? one could hope
you know, something like the overall colouring scheme of the nebula being ~'reflected' somehow, making it lighter in effect

some look good, some not so good. Not sure how I feel about the Gold on brown look but the other colors look good

My main problem with the new t2 colors is Viziam. Its a tarnished metal t1 hull.
Perhaps a fade effect like Ishukone but with a stronger green.
I like the Carthum Conglomerate. But I think the red crimson hue should be slightly re-tuned as it looks blood raider. I miss the old Guardian red.
The darker blacks of the Khanid is nice but the Silver makes it look like the Navy
Navy, white and black. simple and nice. But they look too much like Khanid. |

Those effects will probably look a lot better if the models are a bit dark.

No red on the Absolution.  Damantion is not black. ditto assault frigs.
The shiny is nice, but why do they have to lose rich color for shades of brown/tan? |

So, I guess the Anathema and Curse are Khanid. I think the color scheme works with the Anathema, but not with the Curse. The Curse could actually pass for black previously, but now cannot. An all black ship with blue lights is very scary, IMHO. LOL....I guess I'm a sucker for cup holders, too. |

It's strange because for example, Khanid ships have the correct Khanid logo but Carthum ships have the Sarum family logo and Viziam ships have the ardishapur family logo. Purifier doesn't have any logo but it's a Viziam ship.
I'd like Carthum and Viziam logos for Amarr TII ships as same as Caldari and Gallente V3 ships have Duvolle, creodron,roden,lai dai, kaalakiota or ishukone logos and painting jobs.
Hound doesn't have any logo too, it's a Boundless Creation ship. |

Dear god the old Amarr T2 color schemes were garish and horrifying, ESPECIALLY Carthum Conglomerate. Gold and cherry red, yeah, going to strike so much fear in the hearts of the enemy. Khanid ships were ok, and I still think at this point that they're ok. But the Vengeance could do without the finny things at it's back, they make the sleek and dangerous Punisher hull look kind of silly, as do the wings in the side. But at this point I'm quite impressed with the Amarr V3 textures as a whole, and feel that I should fly them more. |

the brown is coming from the harby and normal Apocalypse. Their hulls have the normal brownish/tannish color and then a more pronounced Gold plating on top of it. Looks better than the original but still a bit bland
