It's easily possible in a claw. As people keep telling how much 'better' the crow is then I guess it must be. |

its easy you just need the right technique, i tend to orbit at 15k with a 10MN afterburner and spam bloodclaws (you need lots and lots and lots of them!!) its easy you can even do it afk, you just need the right skills so you can use the mwd\ab constantly and if the rat you are orbiting dies you need to re-orbit something, else you stop moving and the crow dies quickly when stationary

So easy its unreal....
Avoid the webs and no problemo
Even taken the 550k Moa with no issues .....waiting for the Sabotage mission to return , then i will try the Raven
OFFT FORM LIFE :SIMPLE IN A COMPLICATED WAY Some players make EVE history : Other players are EVE history

Since I've done it in a merlin I can only assume it's possible with a crow. __________ Capacitor research |

Hey that's my technique! Patent Pending, CopyrightÖ.
As other have said, it's pretty easy in an Interceptor, much more so than any cruiser, as long as you keep moving An Interceptor that's getting hit is gonna be in trouble, but short of the 0.0 Ceptor NPCs, mission pirates don't have a chance. I usually use a maller for lvl 3 kill missions as it doesn't need ammo, but if I'm in a hurry, the Crow gets the job done, and the loot collected much, much faster
Just hope you don't find yourself chased by 14 cruise missiles, and have your Afterburner shut off...

Oh yes it's possible.
A while back I had a thread about ideas on taking the Rifter to lvl3 kill missions. I've since started doing them and I can't say it's entirely without problems, but haven't met anything I can't take yet.
I would assume its that much easier in a crow (or even a kestrel - or any ship that doesn't have to rely on turrets as then your orbitting speed won't matter). I'd just use rocket launchers for better dot (and it's safer to orbit right on their skin anyway).
Still, even if you're orbitting at full speed, sometimes incoming missiles will hit you. Also, when changing to orbit a new target, it seems that its the time when most hits come. For this reason (and because I don't have to spend time/money on repairs), I pack a small armor repairer.
Oh and like somebody already mentioned (but I need to emphasize): PACK A LOT OF AMMO. I mean it, lots and lots.

I just started doing lvl 3 kill missions in my Claw, and i can wholehartedly agree with this sentiment ... i think i used close to 500 units of proton (200 prototypes w/ proton seem to give optimum of around 1.6km, which is what my orbit tends wo work out at) and about 2-300 foxfire rockets (with a 2/2 setup) in 3 missions. Lots of fun though, just don't make the mistake i did on my first one, warped in at 30km to see what i was up against, (three 35k cruisers and one 85k) and got nailed down to armour before i realised what was happening. Warp in close and go straight for the jugular

In a few missions (where there's been over 10 or so enemy vessels) I've actually used over 1000 rounds of EMP and 1000 Foxfire missiles to bring 'em down. Amarr Navy Mallers suck up quite a load. That's absurd, but that's life with an intchy trigger finger.

I was doing lvl 3 agent missions in my taranis for quite some time, however cant use a MWD ofc else you're toast.was handelling 4 cruisers no problems, tho was a little bit trickier when they used missiles.
In the end i lost my taranis to 3 cruisers and 5 frigs, all missile rats :\ got 3 of the frigs first tho. only lost it cus my cap ran out and i didn't warp in time :(
