Level 5 advanced learning skills definitely aren't worth it. The only reason I have all of mine except charisma to 5 is because I ghost trained all of them each time I quit Eve.

If you set up a skill plan on EVEMon, it'll suggest learning skills if it will reduce your training time by training it (as in, the time to train the skill will be offset by the extra point). Just throw in some skills you want to train for the next few weeks and see what it tells you.
I like using the learning skills as a "cap" at the end of my plan in case something RL comes up forcing me to be away for a period of time. Works like a charm.

im at the im bored of eve stage
all my accounts will have expired this wednesday
i will take a few months break
hopefully ambulation might offer something fun to do since ccp nerfed everything else

I currently have basics to 4 and advanced to 3, which I'm now working on getting 5/4. I'm really regretting not doing this in my early career. I'm also regretting several other skills I trained. It's just the way the game is.
You've got them to a decent level, now have some fun. Set a goal for yourself, like flying BS's, work your way up to them. Train frigates and fit them with small guns, get the T2 variants, and get your tanking skills up to t2 components. Then work on cruisers, get them fully T2 fitted, then get a BS and get it fully t2 fitted.
DO NOT RUSH INTO BIG SHIPS. You cannot fly them properly, you will lose them in missions and discourage yourself. Take your time, the game isn't going anywhere!

Because apparantly the double training speed is calculated when the skill starts training, so as long as you have under 1.6m when you start training battleship V, it'll only take 15-20 days instead of 30-40.
This is what I did for my first 2 weeks. On creation day I ran the tutorials and immediately trained cybernetics to 1 and plugged in the lovely full +3 set my dear old departed grandfather(main: not departed) had given me as an inheritance gift for the day I became a pod pilot. From there I bought all the basic learning skills minus charisma and set up the queue with alternating learning and normal skills. I proceded to have a blast with the Sisters mission arc and kept up the training till I had all the learnings to 4 and then adv to 3 with other needed skills seeded in the queue throughout.
Once all the learnings were 4/3 I remapped to put perception and intelligence to be three points ahead of willpower and memory then started on leveling out the support and fitting skills for a battlecruiser until I got to the point that only enough 2x time was left to finish drone 5 and bc 4 with 10,000 sp left till 1.6 mil sp total. Now all I have to do is start bc5 and enjoy running level 2 and 3 missions until the 14 days to bc 5 are over. Heh a useable mission hurricane at two weeks with drone and battlecruiser 5 a bit over two weeks later. Then after that all thats left is polishing up the leftover skills to get all t2 fittings and supports then another remap to go charisma and then the leadership skills to finally land in a Sleip.
Endless horizons after that.
Absolutely love the new character system CCP. Kudos!
