I can't believe I haven't seen this post before its bloody brilliant! Well done Magma!!!
Can you tell us which two regions of space you quote prices for? I'm going to start using your baseline prices for my ship pricing.

I'm not gonna reveal which regions I use, because I want to avoid people trying to manipulate the market prices.
Hope you understand.

Update week 39:
Tritanium price rose almost 1.50 percent, the mineral is still in strong demand by major shipbuilders. Pyerite price ended little changed (see graph 2), some large mining corporations flood the market with considerable quantities.
There still is a little bit of uncertainty about which way isogen and nocxium are going. Nocxium price has shown some signs of suffering recently, but that's countered by isogen indicating continued improvement. Traders are advised to remain cautious until they see a clear trend. The high value minerals continued to set the tone for the markets. Zydrine price fell 1.50 percent, while morphite managed a 0.36 percent gain.
What will be closely watched for the next weeks will be the megacyte price. It took a hit again this week and still no sign of a turning point in the near future.

Perhaps the moderators aren't carebear-ish enough to recognize the value of this very Sticky-able topic?
Even the Sharky corps make good use of this post. We <heart> your weekly price list.

Update week 40
The low value minerals donÆt show any strong reactions this week. All average prices remain in the short-term trading range.
As expected isogen is on the rise again. Isogen price poked its head above 80 for the first time. Most market watchers claim this will not be a briefly encounter.
Another big drop in zydrine price. Zydrine clearly left its long-term bullish price channel. Graph 3 shows a subsequent break below the main supportline. Is this a first warning to a trend change ?
Megacyte price came under pressure again. There still is no significant volume, so the malaise continues.
The new influx of tech 2 BPOÆs gave morphite another boost, driving the price up with nearly 3 percent.
Graph 3 : Zydrine price history - last 12 months
NEW: All Magma mineral prices are also available on this website (ingame browser compatible): http://www.magmaindex.uni.cc Click here for link.

Very well done.I am especially interested in the reasons for the price changes every week. One suggestion:
Since most minerals are pretty volatile on the long term, I'd use logarithmic charts instead of the linear ones, I bet the Zydrine would still be in its channel then. |

Untill now only tritanium and zydrine managed to gain more than 100 % above NPC price. So no need for logarithmic charts....yet. I hope it never will be, cause a constant inflation will really screw up the EVE economy.
