Ok.. here's what i have been thinking of to balance the lvl 2 battleships
Each race gets a bonus
Let's begin with :
Gallente - Megathron: Simple.. another midslot, since blasters take alot of midslots. for MWD and webber. then they never have any defence at all
Amarr - Apocalypse: I haven't though alot about this.. but i started thinking of amarr get some dmg love?
Minimatar - Tempest who suffers at lack of tracking speed and damage now. in my opinion. give the projectiles bonus to tracking speed..
Not alot. but enough
And we have the caldari - raven
The raven is the easiest thing to balance to armour tank
REMOVE the cap reley nerf.. Make shield tanking just as powerful as armour tank..
What do you guy's think about this idea's?

actualy, this could quite easily cause more problems than it would solve.
If you give the mega another med slot, than there goes a very key flaw that helps keep its power in check.
Apoc- Frankly, the apoc doesn't need to be able to deal any more damage... yeah, ever seen a ship with a bunch of tachyies? ouch.
Raven- the fact that this is one of the more commonly used ships should stand as good proof that this ship is already pretty well balanced.
I will decline to comment on the minmatar ships at this time. |
