I got the SE, can i only get a single shuttle ship with the first character i created or how it works? Basically i can create up to 3 characters and i would like to use 2 at least.

I believe only the first character gets the shuttle.

Guess my questions are pretty rookie-like, but i dont know someone ingame where i could ask all that stuff. Im gonna try to find someone.
The special interbus shuttle is just a gimmick, a collectors piece that is basically like a limited edition item, limited to those who purchase the boxed version of eve. The cargobay is crappy, it is double the size of other shuttle bays, but you wouldnt be able to move anything other than skillbooks and blueprints to be honest in decent quantity.
If you arent into the collectors edition stuff then check auctions on the contracts and consider selling it if you feel its worth while to you. Could pull in some decent isk for skillbooks there and maybe a Hulk or something later on.

The shuttle is not really useful for anything and probably took ccp about 2 minutes to create. Lamest attempt at a 'special' item I've seen in any mmo tbh.

Aha, i see. The quantity however doesnt truly matter to me, as long as im a rookie. I saw a old enginee somewhere. If i could catch this, would be fun. Probably not movable and even as a single item bigger than the cargo storage. I dont know how to handle the ships specifications and would be great having a good database for it. There are a lot around but most of them are not very good. Still, the rookie ship got a several times smaller cargo storage and its a extremely crappy ship! Im not sure how long it takes till i got me a "real" ship.

There are people out there who will pay you a few million ISK for this collector's item - so it IS a valuable ship for noobs - it will finance your first few cruisers.
BUT there are also people out there seeking to destroy rare ships - thus - don' fly that thing on autopilot...you will get ganked...

What's the name of this sepcial edition shuttle. And yeah, if the cargobay is only 20m3, that still sucks.

Im a rookie, as i already told. And im sure its easy to get scamed on EVE without knowledge. So i rather wait for any kind of actions till i got more knowledge and the help of some people which hopefully means it serious with me.

I don't know, it's better than how CCP used to create special edition battleships then give them to their buds under the guise of a an event or "competition" -- 99% of Eve-o posters should stop posting. This probably includes me, but definitely includes you. |

Edited by: Xocoatl on 16/04/2009 14:32:09 Edited by: Xocoatl on 16/04/2009 14:31:35 The point is, the ship is rather useless but keep in mind: For a rookie, almost anything is useful, they arnt rich fleet-monsters such as most of you. So even if the ship is nothing special at all, rookies can make some use of it. So i think, its a great idea to give it to them. Yes, im sure a lot of rich "ship collectors" would pay a huge amount for it.

Im not sure what a shuttle is good for even. Think its some kind of mini cagro ship but without big cargohold at all. The shuttle is called "interbus shuttle" and it seems like the cargohold is double size vs. any other shuttle.

Shuttles are used to get between places where you already perhaps have stuff, or where you want to buy stuff (perhaps a new ship).

I have run your scam before :) Sorry but you are a scammer. You need to display less knowledge of eve in order to pass the helpess rookie test and mentioning your "wealth" far too soon tut tut.

I bought that shuttle for 75 million so you shouldn't sell it for anything less. It's just a collectors item, I just needed it to make a few recordings, now it's gathering dust in my hangar.
And I'd recommend against flying it as you can easily get suicide ganked by a smartbomb or something. ---

Just talking to my friend there now, he said it's description was like a normal Armageddon, but it was brighter looking and had that Minmatar logo on the side.

It is useful to transport small goods in a ship tht stands out as a nice shiney target to opportunist gankers?

75 mil sounds silly for a shuttle - even for a collector's item... How many thousand of these ships had been given out? 5 mil eounds more reasonable tbh
