You can warp within bubbles, meaning the chances you get decloaked in a bubbled 0.0 camp are pretty low The 10% scan bonus isn't the same as for a cov ops? Why would one want to fly a cov ops? Why would one bother to fly a pilgrim? Just take a seat in your T3 wtfpwn mobile and explore all regions of 0.0 perfectly safe. Pwn ratters, scan down plexers or do your own carebearing ... yes, those ships ARE expensive. Right now! If we believe CCP, this will change. CCP announced T3 will be cheaper than T2.

That's quite a bit more expensive than the equivilent tech 2...

Erm I fail to see how a complex ship, which you have to buy 1 hull and 5 Subsystems will ever fall below the price of a single T2 ship unless they change the quantity of materials to stupidly low levels. Yes prices are high now but even if you cut them by 75% you'd still end up with a ship costing ~500mil >.>

Also remember that you rig a Cov-Ops once, you have to re-rig a SC everytime you want to do something else with it (or keep your suboptimal rigs), and it may not be desirable to put scanning rigs on it. Though it's understandable that they outclass a Cov Ops when specialized for it, as they are a cruiser hull. Cov Ops are not exactly expensive or difficult to train for so I don't see this as a terrible thing. But, yeah. That's quite a bit more expensive than the equivilent tech 2... 300 is around the same as a Commandship really, and normal t2 fittings on the t3 ships is putting out around the same DPS and tank as a command ship(And only very slightly faster) Can't fit it any other way ofcourse because that would just be plain silly
