OverKill Caldari Hadean Drive Yards Archaean Cooperative	Posted - 2009.04.18 11:40:00 - [1] After close to 7 years of existance, the Hadean Drive Yards will be closing it's doors. To my knowledge that is the single longest running (continuously) Corporation within the world of EVE and if so maybe there will be a Guiness Book of Records entry under "Nerd". I am sure I speak on behalf of each and every Hadean, past and present, when I say "Thanks for all the great memories and as always it was a pleasure doing business with you". Will the CEO title be passed on to someone else? No, at least not in the sense that would keep the Corporation solvent. That title will be passed to an alt of mine after the last of the Hadeans have boarded their ships and departed the Yards. What started with me will end with me. One earns that right after a few years servitude. Are the players, myself included, leaving EVE? Unlikely, many of them are going on to seek out new adventures. Some may form their own organization built upon principles similar to what was exemplified within HDY and some may put on eye patches and run around screaming "Yar". Who knows?!? I was offered a job at HDY a couple of years ago and declined due to the blood lust I now wish i had taken it just for the learning experience. I can remember when HDY was the only place to get certain T2 ships for a long time. Nice job and gl in the future.

Joining HDY about 4 months after the game was released and having gone through the "transition" I have to agree with DrSeuss. If Overkill was any type of man, he would sell off the Prints and distribute the ISK to all his former members. But I don't think thats going to happen.
