Where in England is this "sunshine" you speak of? I am in the south and although the sun is making a concerted effort to come out, the skies are still grey. |

I actually prefer a gray sky, or fog, with a little bit of rain in it. Not that I do not like a good sunny day, but it is a bit overrated imo. |

I spent the day serving competitive cyclists sandwiches, biscuits and compound infused water.
Im pink, and it started nice but then overcast within the hour. Our viewpoint had a 30 mile 360 degree vista and we watched the rain rolling around us.
But im burnt - not bad and im so gonna be tanned tomorrow.....

You see my avatar? I took off her jacket right when i saw the first d+¬collatages here in my city, back in March. Other than that it's been quite a moist April and summer fashion season hasn't started out until this past week.
So, now it's officially spring time and warm weather won't leave until October. Time to drop a theme by a band from my city:

This thread just helps illuminate how different environments have differing effects on people. Here in Phoenix, Arizona in the U.S., we've got perfectly blue skies for most of the year; for that matter, we don't even have any clouds at all a very large percentage of the time.
Personally, with heat and the constant, scorching sun being the norm here, I like overcast days. To me, the Arizona environment (well, the southern 2/3 of the state) feels like, for lack of a better word, death. On those rare occasions when it rains, it's kind of like the water of life is pouring down from the heavens. I find it extremely soothing.
Anyway, enough with bad metaphors. You may now resume your normal poasting. |

The plan was working great until those damb Germans ruined everything. Malcanis' Law: Any proposal justified on the basis that "it will benefit new players" is invariably to the greater advantage of older, richer players.

Pfft, half the country is in drought and the other half is flooded, so on average I think 'Soggy Wetlands' is a slight overstatement.
But thank your for jinxing the weather, its been reasonable here in Yorkshire for the last few days as soon as you mention sunshine it starts tipping it down. |

Unfortunately all the nice parts of the world were occupied by Johnny Foreigner, and we can't put up with them so we stayed in our nice, comfy, grey, miserable, crowded little island, in the superior knowledge that in fact, the people living in the nicer parts of the world really want to be English and so they are in fact the miserable ones.
Or something like that.
