As the general public is undoubtedly aware, Fountain was recently invaded by CA forces. They have been repulsed.
Fountain is again open for access via the passport system.
As a personal aside, I cannot help but express my disappointment in CA. I was genuinely looking forward to CA challenging us, much as m0o and later The Forsaken Empire did many months ago.
That invasion, although costing us dearly in assets, truly showed us what our members and member corporations were made of. It exposed the FA corporations that thought only of themselves, who ran back to Empire space when things looked bleak. It showed us who amongst us would fight and die honorably for Fountain, and which of us would stay in a station verbally abusing the enemy all night.
That invasion made us stronger. It showed us what qualitie to look for in our members, a willingness to sacrifice for each other. Oddly enough it was often the example set by our enemies that allowed us to grow into something better than we were.
This invasion, we hoped, would be another such trial. For months CA have talked about the hell they would visit upon us. Finally our intercepts told us the much anticipated invasion was coming. CA was pulling out all the stops and coming to Fountain with a force to be reckoned with.
We are still waiting.

From what i hear when CA came you all blobbed up in 1 system and refused to engage, i dont call that repulsing the enemy.
However it must have proved to you that you can form a fleet, and for that you are rightly proud.

Why do people always have to say something they have no clue about?

If the size of our fleets is a point of objection, CA should only declare war on smaller alliances.

I said "FROM WHAT I HEAR", that was a personal view from what i have read. I never stated it was true, and I also congratulated them on being able to stand against a foe.......

Its not about the size of the fleet, its about the fact that if CA jumped into the system, they would be instaganked before their computers could load the game because of lag. ................. |

You could have just said the passport system was open and left it at that, but its just like FA to dress it up and attempt to give themselves a clap on the back for their astute military and political savvy.
Originally by: Detaitiv That invasion, although costing us dearly in assets, truly showed us what our members and member corporations were made of.
It cost alot of corps assets, alot of other FA corps nothing at all...because they were "away" in civ for most of the fighting. Which showed the corps that were fighting what those corps were "made of". Instead they threw out some of the most resilient corps that actually did defend Fountain in the "coup".
Originally by: Detaitiv It exposed the FA corporations that thought only of themselves, who ran back to Empire space when things looked bleak.
inexplicably some of the BIG corps didnt seem to get exposed for being in empire..other corps didnt return from their jollies in other alliance space to defend Fountain till it was far too late....ridiculous. In case im not being clear enough, im talking to BIG and XAN in particular.
Originally by: Detaitiv It showed us what qualitie to look for in our members
..backstabbing, deceit, and a talent for mining in civ when other corps were reduced to fighting m0o in our own backyard in f***ing frigates. Fine qualitys indeed. long may you live in your own faeces.
This is an alt, flame away ya lamers.

Most of the FA corps participated every time in the defence. Unlike last invasion the overall performance was outstanding.

Yada yada. If you had a clue you would know that the FA - Curse-operations ended before CA invaded aridia/fountain. Hence all FA fleets were back home before the first battle against CA in Fountain space (i should know i particpated in both)
Alt or not, the person behind it is not the smartest kid around, or better not the most informed one. Good job tho on everyone who helped defending Fa space.

You only 'repelled CA' in that we got bored of your antics and went home.
If that was a victory for you then its fair to say CA have 'beaten' m0o, Evolution and Celest in a similar manner. Personally Id say neither side won.

CA never loses ;)
They dont lose getting their asses kicked in their own space, they dont lose when they get thrown out of other ppls space on one of their failed invasion attempts and they dont lose when other corps like atuk go and claim some of their space.
Funny tho, you dont wanna tell us about your failed "call to arms" ?

Yada yada yourself mate :) Im not talking about the recent invasion by CA, im talking about the m0o/FE invasion back in dec/jan that was the crux of the first posters diatribe.
clear?
I aint talking about the recent invasion, and i have underlined and emboldened your own admission of the poor turnout in defence of a once fine alliance. Once again im talking about XAN and BIG.
