Personally I've seen just as many non-carebears act and type out utterly offensive or childish things as the carebears. I think it all boils down to the confidence of sitting anonymously behind a computer. There's no consequence. I would bet that 99% or more of these internet warriors would not have the cajones to say the things they do to anyone's face. Oh wait, every one of them is 6'4" 250lbs and works out every day, or so they say.

It's very possible that they didn't because they guessed if they killed you, you would go all emo-rage (like most pirates/ninja-salvagers do when they get ganked back unexpectedly) and call in 10 corpmates to come kill them. They have every reason to guess that you would do that, especially with the high and mighty attitude you're sporting here.

Frankly all the emo-raging would be much more entertaining if it wasn't just so tiresome.

They could also use their eyes to handle that situation. It is called "LOCAL". I use it to watch for their corp mates coming in to handle me. Maybe they could use it too?

I like my high and mighty attitude. The view is nice.

And naturally that's what everyone says. "I'm not the emo-rager, they are". But how would they know? They wouldn't. But in an online game it's common practice, and not a bad one, to assume the worst.

Everyone likes to claim they are the one that's different than the norm, that takes it in stride and finds away to learn from it etc., etc. But somehow there's still a large portion of the emo-ragers out there.

If you are or aren't, I have no idea. I know nothing about your playstyle or attitude other than you are currently showing a typical overly-pompous forum warrior side. But you may have noticed that my point was that those mission runners don't know either, but through either general knowledge or past experience they may have had good reason to not retaliate and that reason quite possibly wasn't because they "deserved to be walked on because they wouldn't stand up for themselves".

But go ahead with your assumptions if it helps that e-ego and raises that perch you're on even higher. We can look up and laugh just as easily as when we look down...

Um...huh? I don't recall saying I'm better than anyone. Please refrain from making silly leaps of logic.

I don't care if you gank every carebear or mission runner out there. This is Eve. Ganking happens and people better be prepared to deal with it.

I'm referring to his attitude and assumption about why those mission runners did not attack him for stealing from them. I stated that pretty clearly. Go re-read my responses.

The only part you were really correct with was "I don't get it".

From a carebear point of view, it's annoying to have somebody waste your time.

 That's it.

Some folks lose it when you do and some don't. Indeed it's just a game, but time is very valueable to some folks (such as me for exmaple), and nobody wants to be the puppet on the string of another player unless they actually go looking for it.

Why does it have to be any deeper than that?

 Because of the almighty e-peen.

It's not griefing, I think we can agree on that.

Pointing out "logical fallacies" then posting your own is bad form.

Gankers cry, whine, and post insults just as much when said carebear actually has claws and teeth. When they not only miss an "easy" kill but get ganked back, they will throw every insult out there and come back with 10 people to satisfy their bruised little e-ego.

Point being, get off the high horse if you're just the same.

You still used the word griefing. It doesn't belong. There's no need to try again, the failure was yours.

Like I said, that lofty moral pinnacle can be quite precarious.

Irrelevant drivel as it's pointed out to be your own "logical fallacy". Of course your e-ego only sees that others have those and you're always correct. Again, predictable. The only part I do agree with is that the lofty moral pinnacle is precarious, only I realize it's just as precarious as your own.
