Spent alot of time and research into passive tanking for a Drake, can use both gallante and Caldari BS's now. Lost my Raven in a battle and looking to pick up a jammer cause i have decent skillz in jamming. Looking for a good fit for a passive tanking/ jamming scorp that can handle till i do the warp in/out tactic during fight.

It's not the best setup for a scorpion (prefer armor buffer tank), but:
Quote: [Scorpion, shield jam scorp] Damage Control II Power Diagnostic System II Power Diagnostic System II Power Diagnostic System II
Invulnerability Field II Photon Scattering Field II Warp Scrambler II Stasis Webifier II ECM - Multispectral Jammer II ECM - Multispectral Jammer II ECM - White Noise Generator II ECM - Spatial Destabilizer II
Siege Missile Launcher II, Mjolnir Javelin Torpedo Siege Missile Launcher II, Mjolnir Javelin Torpedo Siege Missile Launcher II, Mjolnir Javelin Torpedo Siege Missile Launcher II, Mjolnir Javelin Torpedo Large EMP Smartbomb II Heavy Energy Neutralizer II
Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I Anti-Thermal Screen Reinforcer I Anti-Kinetic Screen Reinforcer I
Hammerhead II x5 Hornet EC-300 x5
Best part is that it doesn't cost very much with full insurance, but plenty of drawbacks.

Edited by: dread fire on 21/04/2009 04:21:48 Dont mean to de-rail your train, so to speak. But before you go investing money into a ship realise that EFT doesnt represent some things. If you think its worth it, than by all means go for it.
A few problems that EFT isnt going to tell you are...
1. you are in a battleship, you dont go anywhere fast (A.K.A. you are gonna get primaried and tackled in PvP)
2. By the time you warp in the 2nd time the battle is over
3. its impossible to shield tank anything that uses jamming because it lowers you support effectiveness
4. Enemy snipers are looking for you, as well as the new stealthbombers
On the plus side its gonna take some DPS to kill you quick, and another jamming ship to stop you from jamming at least 1 cycle.
EDIT: if you want to cheaply try jamming out i suggest the blackbird or an electronic attack frig

Yeah I would go all or nothing, meaning other ECM tank or full buffer tank. With ecm you can get about 120km (90km falloff) with the racials using a sensor booster and range script (2nd booster doesn't work ... broken?).
HIGHS 4x Cruise missile launcher 2x Drone Link Augmentor I
MEDS 1x Sensor Booster II/Range Script 1x 100MN Afterburner II/Micro Warp Drive II 1x ECM - Spatial Destabilizer II 1x ECM - Phase Inverter II 1x ECM - White Noise Generator II 1x ECM - Ion Field Projector II 2x ECM - Multispectral Jammer II
LOWS 1x Damage Control II 3x Signal Distortion Amplifier II
For rigs ... your choice, I generally start with an "Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I" and work from there. As far as drones go your choice again. I use mine for logistics and more ECM

Troll away!
How about replacing the siege launchers with cruise launchers (since they can use t2 precision ammo) and at least one large netrualizer. This will definately help you against anything small trying to tackle you. In principle, drain ceptor - kill ceptor
Otherwise i agree with you...all or nothing with this puppy
