Hi,
Dear CCP,
Like you know many people play EVE in window mode, everyone knows that we just need to drag the window to the top of the screen to have the "full-screen".
But with this new stupid fancy new widgets of Windows 7 doing that is quite impossible.
If you drag any window to the top, the windows explorer auto-maximize that window.. O.o
and if we do that with the EVE window it keeps moving down to the default position.
So im forced to play in FULLSCREEN mode....argh!
how to work around this issue? Any ideas?
Cause i cant find any options in windows 7 to deactivate that auto-maximize ****.
can CCP code a proper window-mode fullscreen?
I created a nice little video with low colors to show what im talking about.

Have fun!

Allows you to do a few things, with a very simple program: Primarily, it's to help assign EVE processes to specific monitors (for multi-monitor systems), but also once you assign it to a specific monitor it'll take your windowed EVE client and make it windowed-maximized like you enjoy. Cheers. ---------

You can turn off all window gestures.
Google for "XdN Tweaker.exe"

You can try with Evemon, it has an option to fit windowed to the screen. I use it with windows 7 and it works like a charm ;D

You can turn off 'snap to' in the control panel under 'make my mouse easier to use' you can then drag it off the top of the screen again.
Still wish they would fix the problem properly with a propper fullscreen window which is probably about 3 lines of code...

It's a little embarrassing that all other modern games have a nice maximize window function, but eve still use hardcoded resolutions :( Who came up with the thought that either you want it in a small window, or you don't want your Windows bar at all?
I want to maintain my Windows Taskbar (for MSN, and other stuff) and the rest of the screen for EVE - maximized. Hell, other games are even stretchable and re-adjustable on the fly!
It would be so sweet, if we could launch multiple clients, and stretch and fit our windows as we see fit.
In this aspect, EVE is like 10 years behind :(

Hi,
I have a problem with evemover, When I start 3 EvEsessions it only detects them as one and force them all in the same screen.
Shiftwindow is ugly in "rezizing mode" and fullscreen mode will not work. But I need the option to adjust the position because of my setup.
Setup:
8800gtx Out 1: Matrox Triplehead2Go in Dualhead mode 2x 22" Widescreen 1680x1050(3360x1050) Thats the reason why fullscreen is no option. Out 2: another 22" 1680x1050
Anyone know how I can achieve my dream of a borderless(Evemover), windowed, adjustable positioned(shiftwindow), Eve Client? Thx
Eo
Ps: EvE in 5040x1050 is funny but... its like swimming in an goldfishglass CPP give me more Space to look at!
