What do Gallente tank with? Some people say hull, others armor? Basically I want to know what is the best way to tank Gallente ships.

The majority of Gallente ships are fit with Armor tanks.
Of course if you want to be a real man, you hull tank everything you fly. Even Caldari ships.

I tank my brutixes with antimatter and medium blasters. What's dead can't hurt me.
A more helpful response is: most gallente ships Armor tank.

Helpful info: Gallente are more of an armor tanker then shield, although most Gallente ships can pull off shield tanking. If your skills are in armor then by all means go armor. Gallente ships also have the highest Hull HP's of all the races. So IMHO a Damage Controller is a must. That added buffer before pod has saved me more times that I can remember.

There is no best. Sometimes shield tanking works better, sometimes armor and for PvP often a hull tank of one Damage control unit can make a massive difference. |

Some Gallente ships have bonuses for armor tanking, none have any for shield tanking.
Take that for what it is, but plex Ishtar is win and thats shield tanked.
Furthermore by continuing this discussion we detract from the real issue many of us are having with eve online, the lack of break between signature and post content. |
