a buddy of mine has started playing eve, but he can never stay on for more than 15-20 minutes tops, many times for even shorter than that. he has a fast, new alienware rig and he claims he's already tried 1 version of older drivers. any suggestions or is anyone else having this problem? if anyone needs other specs to maybe fix it, let me know and ill ask. thanks in advance

He claims he has tried other drivers - need to know if he has or has not for definite. And need to know what driver versions, OS, direct x version etc.
The more information you can provide, the easier it will be in solving the problem.

Ask him to try running eve in 98 mode compatability. |

I use a GeForceFX 5900 Ultra, and the game is fine for me. Sounds like yer buddy needs to scan for virsuses.
