Today Avarice showed up in 4C Local to begin thier daily taunting, asuming they were going to go up to YVA and take down the POS we had present in that system. They also stated that we were incapable of taking down one of thier POS's For all of thier bragging that they could take us on by themselves in this thread, and we are supposed to be PL/SOT Lapdogs and need to call on PL to engage them, at the end of the day, it was Avarice that had to beg the help of the Cry Havoc cap fleet to come save them.

Avarice arrived in 4C Local with around 30-40 pilots, we had approximatly 75 in fleet at that point, but my goal was not to take on thier fleet, it was to remove the BF POS. And defend our POS in YVA. We waited the 30 mins for them to get bored and move up the pipe to engage one of our towers. They kept 4-6 carriers in 4C at thier POS for a hot drop, we however were sitting on 20 caps for this engagement, as soon as they engaged our POS we undocked and hoped into the next system destroying thier POS in 1 cycle. We immeaditley sent the battleship fleet up to YVA to engage the avarice fleet on our POS. With our capital fleet in reserve in 4C waiting to hotdrop.

We noted Mr. Bright inbound to the area, I of course concluded that Cry Havoc was going to hotdrop, and convoed Mr. bright to request that they leave this engagement between us and Avarice given thier incessant running off at the mouth at every engagement. Mr. Bright of course was at the behest of his standings...and had to reinforce Avarice because of thier prior agreement.

Our Battleship fleet arrived in system and began engaging Avarice, and were winning that fight until the Cry Havoc hotdrop arrived in system...of course someone in fleet screamed hotdrop and we had the unfortunate circumstances of 2 of our carriers thinking that was meant for them to jump in. You win some you lose some. We held back our Caps because we couldnt know what Cry Havoc was holding in reserve.

In response to the Cry Hot drop, our alliance leader made arrangments for Huzzah to reinforce our engagment in case Cry decided to reinforce Avarice again. We comitted our caps preventing Avarice from killing our POS in that system, and attempted to lock down the 6 avarice carriers in system in order to counter hotdrop them. Salavi, that didnt happen. for one reason or another things just didnt put together to make the coup come together.

Ultimatley however the POS was saved and restronted...but of course Avarice decided to go with the smack talk and say we failed at the end of the day. Okay I accept that we had a couple guys who didnt follow orders and got thier caps killed by Cry Havoc, not by Avarice....in a straight up fight between DMH and Avarice, you guys failed. At the end of the day you lost a POS and we saved a POS.
