I just would like to know,
Has anyone seen the minmatar armadillo on a docked Armageddon before? I wonder if its a graphical bug or that minmatar youth spraypainted it on my arma :)
It's on the bow, just above the centerline and on the rear of the ship as well.
It isn't there when you fly it, but it shows up as light grey once you're docked.
I wonder how it got there....
Those who aim at nothing, will most certainly hit that!

you will notice, however, that it doesnt appear when your ship is in space :)

I've heard it was put there as a placeholder of sorts. A custom icon on your ship (like corp logo) was supposed to be a feature, but was scrapped way back. The minmatar logo on the Armageddon (and I think I've heard of it on more ships... Omen?) is a relic from those days that never got fully removed.

It used to be on the arma all the time way back in the day then ccp realized it was stupid to have minmatar marks on a amarrian ship, so they took it off but it still seems to show up when docked so they goofed somewhere.

yeah you can see the same logo on the tempest as you uncloak, but once fully uncloaked you cant see it no more, kinda strange

That is a weird thing as I always thought it had something to do with me building my Geddon in Minmatar space...guess not.

I think that it shows up on the arma cause the ship was built by the ammatar(not sure about spelling) the minmatar that are working for the amarr empire. Its the ammatar fleet that is actually fighting the minmatar (the minmatar have a even lower standing with the ammatar then they do with the ammar empire)
PS Could someone plz tell me if there is actually a logo on the omen...I never owned one ....( I dont really want to spend 4 mil just to check that  )

I do, and was just about to post about the logos until I saw that you beat me to it lol. Can't understand why there aren't more of them around, i found it much more fun for combat than an Omen

The Arbitrator also displays its logos in space, if I recall.
Personally, the best explanation I've heard is summed up as: "Minmatar Inside!"
... it's even a swirly kind of logo.
