ok I've give it a couple of go's and I have nearly lost my BS twice only got away because they started targetting my drones.
I'm using an apoc with 8 x megapulses
any tips on what I can do to kill them?
I have a webifier out here but I have'nt tried it yet to see if that helps simply because I just don't want togo head to head with them again.
I only ever seem to get one killed before the other 2 are on top of me.

heavy drones work quite well

Personaly I forget about them. First you kill the mama BS. Then you let your drones lose and let them worry about the ceptors. It takes a long time for them to go down, but they all do eventualy. Just tank the dmg.
Some ceptors orbit at under 5km. You can take these out with SB if you have one fit, otherwise, just wait for the drones to get them. However if they orbit at 7500, then you have to resort to drones anyway. (I use vespas)

Some ceptors orbit at under 5km. You can take these out with SB if you have one fit, otherwise, just wait for the drones to get them. However if they orbit at 7500, then you have to resort to drones anyway. (I use vespas)

I warp in at 110km and shoot em out of the sky with my first few volleys. Only then do i take on the BS's.

With the drone changes I use medium drones to attack
all but BS's, works quite well. Cruise missiles working
pretty good too, takes about 3 for a frigate to be
incinerated  .
Just wondering why you was not traveling with drones
in the first place.

Cruise missiles.
Use 6x Megapulse and 2x Siege with cruise....wait until they get within orbit distance before you start shooting them (they go faster than the missiles when they are mwding towards you, but slow down when they orbit). The lower-end ones die from two, but you may need 4 missiles + drones for the higher-end interceptors.

yep I found cruise missle's seem to be the easiest way, did'nt even need to pull out my drones, but this is only a tempory measure I guess since missle's will be getting nerfed soon.

theres a tech 2 module called "evil eye of doom patented interceptor killer" works great
the tech 1 sux tho dont use that
its high slot

I kill 750k BS spawns with 6-7 interceptors using a Scorpion.
Cruise missiles for the interceptors, and Torpedos for the BS.
BUT
My Scorp gets a missile speed bonus per level, and now that I think about it you're using an Apoc. I would try running 6 beams and 2 cruise/siege launchers.
Test it out and see if you like it. Bring friends the first time though in case you need to get bailed out =D

6 wasps do a real good job for me... just make sure all the npc's locked your BS and are shooting you (set your auto scanner so you will know once that is... 3 red leds in my case/settings). Then launch drones and go make a sandwhich.
Unleash the drones too early and you will lose drones.

You must have a pretty crappy Apoc. My Apoc has 2 missile hard points.
