So I got two escalations out of this plex (the second one was 16 jumps away...) but this structure in the second escalation room, Serpentis Drug Factory, has some kind of ridiculous tank. It looks like about 1000 shields with 2 second recharge, ~5000 armor that reps itself up to full every 10 seconds or so and a ton of structure. It also webs at 50km. I've cleared out everything else besides this structure and the site is still in my journal, so I'm guessing I'm supposed to destroy this drug factory too.
Who's idea was it to put a structure that can tank 2 or 3 BS in the final room of a plex that can easily be solo'd?
If you've killed this thing, how much dps did it take to pull it off?

Yeah I gave up on it, surprisingly nobody wanted to bring 2 more battleships 17 jumps into hostile space.
Maybe next time I'll see if it drops anything, provided it's a bit closer.

I presume this is the 2nd part of the escalation called 'Contract Killers'.
I did this part of the escalation yesterday, and you are right....this thing has one crazy ubber tank. Our first attempt to take down the Drug Factory was with a Drake, Nighthawk, Ishtar and Raven (cruise). We failed miserably, and had only made the smallest dent in its structure (I think this was a lucky shot that bled through the armour).
In the end we had to return with 2 Ravens (torp), 1 Raven (cruise), 1 Scorpion (torp), and a Domi.
It still took us about 10 mins to take it down.
The loot it dropped was worth about 200k, lol. I presume that this doesnt drop faction loot (or we were just unlucky) and is just there to be destroyed to get the next part of the escalation. It seems that the faction loot actually comes from a Storyline BS that spawns when you shoot the other Drug structure (which doesnt tank).
