Try this on for size.
Low Damage Control Unit 2x1 Co-Processor 2x1 Ballistic Control Unit 2x1 Magnetic Field Stabilizer 2x2 Medium Invulnerability Field 2x2 Heavy Capacitor Booster 2(800 Cap Boost) X-Large Shield Booster 2x1 Shield Boost Amplifier 2x1 100MN Microwarpdrive 2x1 High Neutron Blaster Cannon 2x4(Void L) Siege Missile Launcher 2x4(Juggernaut Rage Torpedo) Rig Capacitor Control Circuit 1x2 Ancillary Currnet Router 1x1
It's setup based on a highly rated battleclinic setup, I put on 4 siege launchers and neutron blaster cannons for max dps/volley. Thoughts?

looks like a caldari answer for a Typhoon setup, minus the buffer tank.
probably wouldn't last long when it gets primaried.
at least you can get 30k armor hp's with a phoon.

CCC rigs don't belong on PVP fits.

Edited by: Shereza on 26/04/2009 05:14:37 Torpedoes might have a higher rDPS than blasters but fitting a split weapon system like that just hurts your DPS in the end. You'd most likely be much better off using 8 blasters with 3 T2 stabilizers or 4 siege launchers, 3 BCS, 2-3 heavy neutralizers, and 1-2 heavy vampires.
Also, a suggestion. Trawl through other posts looking for what EFT setups look like when posted and try to make your setups look a bit more like that. It'll make them much easier to read.
Lows: Damage Control II (fewer characters, easier to type) x2 Magnetic Field Stabilizer II (easier on the eyes) etc.
In addition, if you're going to fit rigs you should probably not use CCC rigs, especially with a cap injector. If you insist on using siege launchers you should probably use hydraulic bay thruster rigs for faster missile speed and increased range or use warhead flare catalyst rigs to help you beat down faster targets more easily.
If you switch to 8 blasters then fitting ambit extension, locus coordinator, or metastasis adjuster rigs to boost your rDPS->eDPS conversion rate via increased optimal or falloff range or better tracking would help, if you have the grid to fit them.
Otherwise you might consider auxiliary thrusters and, despite the nerf, polycarbon engine housings to help you get to the target faster. Another option would be to fit core defence field extender rigs to get a bit more buffer out of your "tank" or core defence capacitor safeguard rigs to reduce the cap cost of that XL booster depending on the size of the fights you plan on getting into. If you get into small-scale fights then the rigs won't matter, but in large-scale fights with several targets hitting you with cap. warfare reducing the cap use of your booster might make all the difference between using it and losing it. ____________________
