Here's what I don't get. I mean, it makes perfect sense your alliance leadership would lie to you - it was monumentally stupid to do what you did and the reaction from Goonswarm and other RA allies was entirely predictable, and so your alliance leadership needs to pretend they weren't so incredibly stupid.
What I don't get is how any of you idiots actually buy it. I mean, RA is Goonswarm's oldest ally, from back when Goonswarm basically didn't have another one in the game. You seriously think Goonswarm would have been willing to sell them out to some crappy drone region alliances? And for what? Nobody cares about you or needs you, it's not like we'd have had anything at all to gain and a huge deal to lose.
So seriously; how on earth are you dumb enough to buy this? The immediate and, well, dramatic Goonswarm response should have made it clear there was absolutely no tolerance for an attack on RA. What were our motivation in this fantasy where we would allow it, then slam you down that hard? Just...what? It makes no sense, and the alternative - that your leaders are lying to you - fits the evidence so much better that even cognitive dissonance shouldn't be protecting you.
