Edited by: Farham on 26/04/2009 19:11:23 "But really, if IRC/ED have proven anything, it's that we don't give up against even odds like this."
Oh really? This is one I.M.M corporate eve-mails:
Quote: 2009.04.26 00:42 GET ALL NONE PVP ASSETS OUT fit the ships u have get the rest of ur stuff out cap pilots the alliance will not replace any cap loses so move ur dreads and carriers out nd jc back down to fight do not jump to WPV by the gen u will prob die we will get a small tower up there and u mite have to cyno ur self in pos pull all none usfull pos down and more to frug
And this is inspiring words from the IRC Titan pilot (no longer in Titan) who had a welp moment using the same safespot a few days in a row:
Quote: 2009.04.25 13:05 Hello Everyone - I woke up this morning with the news that R-6/TP- was sieged during the middle of the night. The hostile forces have dropped 10 towers in R-6 - maybe more. THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF OUR DEMISE. If the hostiles are allowed to succeed, guaranteed we will be next.
WE NEED EVERY SINGLE PILOT ONLINE AND IN COMBAT SHIPS TODAY TO HELP SAVE AND SECURE R-6. If not - just plan on packing your things and heading to empire as we will no longer have space in 0.0. THIS FIGHT IS FOR OUR EXISTENCE. Turbo
Ral and Czech, take the deal. You aren't the fish they want fried.

Its a shame, still some good folks in IRC and ED. I see Kar Stoertebecker giving it his all on the killboard. Good guy, hope you end up somewhere better suited for your talent level when its all over.

Edited by: Farham on 03/05/2009 20:36:27 "the mistake was in trusting russians in the first place."
No, the mistake was trusting IRC leadership. They dragged ED and F0oundation into the entire RA plot that was hatched months ago and look who died in what order...
Ral, I tried to tell you. I tried to tell many in IRC who was really running things. Oldma (IRC Co-CEO) is a good guy, he unfortunately listens to people who should never, ever be in leadership positions. I mean did you really think having someone who helped run Ka-Tet into the ground at the top was a good idea?
Welp.

"So bitter and so full of "inner circle" knowledge. Why don't you enlighten us jackass."
You really don't know who he is or what position he held for almost a year do you? Hell, you don't know who I am or what position I held. I would go so far as to say you know very, very little about IRC, its history or any of its real stories. I suspect your tone has something to do with knowing your corp helped get 140 Billion ISK worth of IRC assets out of Etherium Reach. I am sure they appreciate it.
So, what would you like to know Johny Come-Lately to IRC? Pick a topic.

"When PA leadership decided to vote us out of the alliance we proudly left without ever speaking of the incident publicly. This is the first time I ever mentioned this (4 years later almost).
Why am I sharing this? Just to let you know that you are not the first or last corporation to be kicked out of an alliance. Man up and get over it."
You were voted out over differing views. You walked away.
We were lied about, accused of trying to destroy the alliance and knifed in the back. We simply returned and are returning the favor.
Don't be mad at us because Ral followed IRC down a path of he was asked not to take by folks who would have seen ED protected. Ral is a good guy as I have said. It is shame what is happening to ED.
We have been mostly quiet and content in our move to new digs. That doesn't mean as the final days approach IRC in the drone regions we won't poke our heads in to get in a few "I told you so". The Kami comment from the EOG member is simply priceless. Nice choice their eh IRC?

Coming from someone who jumped ship and is now shooting IRC...well, I think you get the idea.

"Talking about Saba who was in AWEco and was blue (dur) and betrayed them? not titts not ZAF"
What is it with you guys? Saba was a member of TITTS the day we got the knife, check his employment history. We were all red when the reappropriation of assets took place.

"One version of it at least, leaving out a few details like Hardgay"
What did Hardgay have to do with any of it? Half the alliance leadership shot the **** in that channel. Its a fun place to smack talk and unwind with the more interesting reds of Eve. It was a public channel that anyone could join, until IRC decided it was some diabolical spy network so they got the boot. It is still a wide open channel that anyone can join. Perhaps when you are out of IRC you can stop on by and give us crap, it is what the channel exists for. That is an open invite for any of you lot.

"For over a month no one in IRC bothered to audit the access rights and go over whatever rights Saba has added"
It is funny you should mention that. I figure since its all over now I can fill in a little more. The alt that did the theft had been added months ago to help Saba fuel POSes and hand out Dreads/Fuel for OPs since most AWE directors were never on or available.
This alt did originally have the hangar access AND things like POS management.
Fast forward to two weeks before the theft when TITTS and Saba were already long gone. AWE ordered a security sweep. It got done. The alt in question DID have the POS roles rights removed. This is actually a good thing or that Levithan that Thrawn flies around would have been aborted. Anyway, whoever did the security sweep didn't bother doing a hangar access check. So much for real security.
The rest is history. Classic IRC leadership follow through and competence.

""You guys had security issues so we didn't betray you." incorrect."
What? IRC knifed us in the back and then set us red (reason not withstanding). We returned the favor. Nothing more, nothing less.

"Oldma/Kami etc was to punish all the good lads and lasses that were in IRC "
You are right on one point. There are some good folks still left in IRC.
However, they chose to back and continue to support a leadership group that got them into the mess which ended up having unfortunate consequences.

"Just wonderin, are you saying TiTTs would have stopped IRC from dying? O.O"
Ever? No. Most every alliance is going to go belly up after some amount of time.
I can tell you that the theft would never have happened and our being connected with various entities around 0.0 we would have sniffed out the Goons reaction to a real invasion of Insmother, advising strongly against. Before we left Saba was working very closely with Zapawork, the now head Goon, to coordinate efforts to get IRC smack dab in Tenerifis front backing up Xdeath. This would likely have spelled out a far different "today" than IRC has now.
Unfortunately, IRC HC had other ideas and the rest is history.

Are you slow or something?
"You felt betrayed by accusations of disloyalty or spying and yet events have proven that to be correct and confirmed by mittens-"
Events only proved that AFTER we got betrayed, we wanted and got payback. There was no plot, no plan, no GIA operative, no nothing before that day towers were spammed in our station system. Our only plan up until that day was to secure a few more high end moons for IRC, start ramping up our EXTREMELY PROFITABLE capital parts corp building program we had going and try and push the idea that IRC would be smart to fight in Tenerifis...that's it.
The most ironic thing about what transpired in all of this glorious EVE clusterf*** is that the last thing we needed up until the day we got crossed was for IRC to do anything but stay alive and prosper. We were set up to make internet Eve billions.
Internet Billions is serious business.

"you are making IRC look stupid."

"The next one will probably not come from me, and it will come with consequences."
Probably not, as right about now, kicking you out of the alliance would be a reward.

". Also concider that ED was a virgin to major POS war."
You don't know your ED or IRC history very well. Almost exactly a year ago we played POS wars against SmashkillAtlas until GOONs decided to take them out.
"Read and understand. IRC/ED do not use spies or metagame."
I know for a fact that is not true. Ralian had spies in various enemy groups and so did we when I was in IRC. On more than one occasion we got real time intel on enemy fleet coms. But then again I see nothing wrong with it since everyone else does it and it is an important part of what makes EVE so dynamic. The average member isn't going to get to know about those things as you don't want to be tipping your hand to the spies in your coms/forums.
And as far as Solar, they won't allow non-approved entities to live in the drone regions. Majesta and The Intiative were certainly not on their friends list. RA is and as is seen, Solar is staying out of it.

"Hot damn, he's blue to IRC now. How must that feel? And not even in TITTS."
I am on a retirement tour playing a little with some folks who I fought against for over a year. Nothing else to read into it.
And a piece of advice, necroing sometimes has unintended consequences.
