Goons are there because of the impact they had on this conflict from the outset. While you may not be supporting RA with ships etc., you definitely have had a great deal to do with how this conflict is playing out. Alliance theft against IRC/ED that devastated their BPO's, ships, and some resources in effect castrating their ability to bring a heavy fight to RA. Follow that up with an ultimatum to IRC leadership that they get the **** out of RA space or risk having their home systems camped by Goons, which led them to retreat. I think that constitutes Goon involvement in the conflict. I know there was a mass call from IRC/ED leadership to their members for help in recovering from the losses. Hell I dontated 2 billion to the cause before I left. In the end who knows whether they have had the time or the help to rebuild from that little kick in the sack.
I think this is going to be fun to watch play out as both sides are willing to fight hard and bring it. I already told IRC leadership what I felt you needed to do in order to survive the conflict. Now I get to sit back and see what happens.
You may spin facts one way or another as much as you like but the truth is ed/irc/fdn was kicked out of c-j by brute force. The theft happened later and in some way it was a blessing for irc/ed leadership because they got an excellent excuse for simple grunts - "We aren't losing because we suck, we are retreating because of a dirty backstab". In fact I have not seen a single major encounter with ed/irc coming on top. Oh wait, there was that one time, when RA tried to enter zz5 and you succeeded to dd large part of the fleet. The slow pace of RA invasion is largely explained by smart management of stront timers with majority of towers coming at 2-6 AM Moscow time when its hard for us to assemble fleet of sufficient size.

Dear friend, i dont know when and how you got some sov in Insmother nor do i think that you will keep it for much longer. But i wasnt talking about that. I was talking about fleet engagments and i havent seen any major wins on your side.
But i want to finish on a positive note. I think this conflict was a great training for your pilots and the individual skill has increased greatly and it shows. For RA this war is great as well - we got united, new talented FCs appeared, etc etc.. on top of that we can get some tasty dronelands ;)
